I suspect Yahweh is pretty close though I have read a reasonable case for it being three syllables which would be Yehoweh. I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference, no one says Yeshua, they all say Jesus. Jehovah is considered to be the anglicized version of Yahweh so it's the same thing.

"Yahweh" pronunciation is more correct (w60 8/1 pp. 453-455)
by psyco in.
https://wol.jw.borg/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1960561 (substitute .borg with .org)furthermore, today in every jw publication the tetragrammaton is rendered as yhwh which is more preserved by yahweh than by jehovah..

Reddit thread - ‘Organization Finally Suggesting to Plan for Retirement’
by LongHairGal inthis information is supposed to be in the upcoming march wt.
(i don’t go on jw dot org).
it would sound like they are hinting at a change in thinking.. in my opinion, any such change would be yet another slap in the face to faithful pimis along with those other recent changes.. there are so many heartfelt responses on that thread and a lot of justified anger.. don’t know what to say except that i’m so glad i never listened to the religion all those years ago.

I did the Pioneer thing but came to my senses after I got married and got a real job. Never paid a shred of attention to the bumph about not saving or investing. Knew several Circuit Overseers that had pretty good investment accounts. I retired with no debt and enough money invested that I maintained a six figure income. I know quite a few people that did similar things but I also know even more people that did not. That's on them, no one put a gun to their heads and told them they couldn't be sensible about planning for retirement.

Let's talk business ...
by dubstepped ini am thinking that this could be an interesting topic.
most of us never had a chance to go to college, many of us were involved in various service industries like cleaning and such, and we have had some limitations placed on us.
so i thought it might be interested to see what has worked for people, what hasn't, what the progression has been, where people went wrong and where they got it right.

I was a real bright kid and like many I had the opportunity to go to several pretty prestigious Universities and pursue a STEM degree, which I didn't take. I did the pioneer thing with part time work for a while but I got married and as a result, sat down one night and said, "This is just not working."
So, I got a job with a real company, a large company, that had a tendency to let you do whatever you were able to do and bootstrapped my way up to some very responsible positions whose job requirements specified at least a Masters Degree and preferably a PhD, but the company was good about waving their magic wand and declaring that I had the equivalent. Several patents and quite a few technical papers helped. I had guys with Doctorates working for me. I was a good conservative boy, saved my money and invested, lived a disciplined life and retired in a very comfortable financial position. I didn't make the 1% but I did make the 5%. Some skills I got from the Organization were quite useful.
I'd say, I did it, but it was a whole lot harder than it should have been and I could feel the ice crackling under me every step of the way. I will also say I could have made less money and engaged in more intellectual pursuits and probably have been happier. But, all in all, I can't complain. I have had the opportunity to see and do things that the majority of people do not.

The vile things being said on social media by Leftist Democrats tell you everything you need to know about this. A recent survey revealed that fully ten percent of Democrats believe that using violence to prevent Trump from becoming President is OK. These people are a menace.
I think it's time to ask, "Is the Democrat Party a terrorist organization?"

Who Was The Biggest Jackass Circuit Overseer You Ever Met?

There were several truly awful Circuit Overseers that I had the misfortune to meet. One of the worst was a guy named William Osbeck, a truly horrible man and a serial liar. There was also a guy name Christian that had abused his wife and his children, and was about as arrogant as you'll ever see.

The Appeal Committee change is significant. I used to sit on an Appeal Committee and the rule was that the person appealing had to be repentant at the time they were being disfellowshipped. If they were only repentant when meeting with the Appeal Committee that wasn't good enough.

Bergman is a self-serving jackass. His degree has nothing to do with mental health.
