  Back. and seeking ideas for screwing over the memorial

  ok. me and friends are going to attend a memorial on 30 march.. what would be the best way to get our message across?.

  should we just throw a hundred flyers into the hall in the middle of the memorial?.

  should we drink the wine and eat all the bread and then stand up and say something?.

  It's not a good idea. Disrupting their memorial lets the elders say "See! Told you so! Those apostates/opposers/unbelievers are evil, they're doing satan's work!" Besides that, you could end up getting arrested (disorderly conduct, etc.). It's better to be an example of how nice ex-Witnesses and non-Witnesses are than to prove the WT right. To help your loved ones leave the organization, help rebuild the bridges to family and friends. Don't burn them like the WT does.

  My Dad died

  my dad,an elder for 25plus years,concentration camp survivor,the works,died in a few weeks ago.i am df'd but have been the only one who helps him and my mum.my jw sister couldnt give a rats ass about them.i was at my mom and dads house after he died,helping my mom with everyting,hell,id been there for 2 months because i was afraid to leave them alone.i knew my dad wasnt feeling well.guess he was worse than i realized.he died.the witnesses came in droves.small kitchen.im sitting at the table.they not only didnt speak to me,but they didnt even acknowledge that i was in the room,about day 3,i stopped answering the door..one "lady" called.sister carol.when i answered the phone she hesitated and said",now you know,i caint tawk to yew"{strong southern accent.ala elie may clampett}"you orta let cher mawma ainser the phone.

  "i told her to bite me and hung up on her...same here,when we got back home.i hate these people with the fury of a thousand suns,but for some reason,i am now in possession of some great elders notes.been laying low,but im going to start posting the juicy stuff.just cause itd be nice for calvin to know that he was seen "dancing recklessly" at a wedding and that sister renee was being councied for her weight and still insisted on gaining more.also that sister e wasnt giving her husband his "due"..{yik}and that certain concetration camp survivors were being coerced into saying that they were jw's at the time of incarceration.but one wouldnt.my dad refused to play their game,and as a result he was asked to step down as an elder at age of 80.that and that he refused to shun me.his notes have been very enlightening..nice folks thise jw's,no?

  they were so mean to my dad, he really believed this crap,and tried to do the right thing.but because he wouldnt dance their way,and turn me,his favorite person{and he was mine|into the cold they treated him badly and mocked him and even his accent.i hate them.really.any ideas?the local elder here,just asked my mom about her financial situation...grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  Kingdom Halls, Assemblies, District Conventions - NO POWER POINT

  i'm a good public speaker - when i have my power point.

  this is because i am a very visual person.

  when i had my notes everything seemed to get blurry.. it bothers me that there is this unwritten law that you are not allowed to give visual presentations in the kingdom hall... even assemblies equipped with multiple projectors (to view baptism) do not use power point or any type of visual stimulus.. hell even when they have 10,000 plus people they are still working a full day with just a man on stage talking.

  Coincidentally, today I received a link to an article [large pdf file] discussing how PowerPoint contributed to (among other things) underestimating the risk of the foam impact on the wing of the space shuttle Columbia on its ill-fated mission. The article can be summarized as "Power Point makes form and presentation more important than content and logic, dulls the audience's critical thinking with its familiar formula, and hides BS behind pretty graphics: thus leading to invalid conclusions". If the WT doesn't let speakers user Power Point, I think they're missing the point!

  Going to California Driving From Connecticut

  i hope to cross the us starting from between latter tonight or within a few days it all depends on how i feel and what the weather is like.. i plan on taking 95 south to 40 west for most of the journey i usually drive all night and stop around night time the next day 24 hours or more.

  i then will go to sleep and finish the journey usually the next day.

  i actually have done this several times in the past, just hoping for good weather..

  Borg court: 3rd session & verdict

  so...the third and final session was pretty straightforward.

  they basically asked some more questions about the first woman, before i got back with the woman who became my wife.

  then they asked what seemed like nothing more than a customer survey of "how are we doin'?

  I'm sorry you're having to go through all this, but I'm impressed with how well you handled it: honestly and with dignity, even while knowing how it would end with the JC, and the problems that the DF brings to your marriage.

  I'm no expert on the tax and legal matters, but if you suspect that she's planning to act it's time to get all your financial documents in order and save duplicate copies in a safe place (besides your house), ASAP. Doing the taxes offers a good opportunity to do this. As you said, you could come home any day to find your clothes in the yard, new locks on the doors, and a process server handing you legal papers. If it should come to that (as you apparently expect), you will need those documents for the court filings. I'm not saying to be defeatist or to do anything provocative, but do be prepared just in case.

  Others have seen this through, and you can make it too!

  jesus said increased wars, earthqaukes, pestilence {obvious prophecies} but here are mine.. 1. verily i say interest rates will rise and fall like "the sea of mankind.".
