i have been reading the bible for the first time in my life.

what my viewpoint on it is not the issue.

i am shocked as to the things i have been reading.

John 14:2, 3 In my Father's house there are many places to live in; otherwise I would have told you. I am going now to prepare a place for you, [3] and after I have gone and prepared you a place, I shall return to take you to myself, so that you may be with me where I am.

there are a lot of examples of free energy motors working on magnets on youtube.

this could have been used instead of polluting powerplants.

Especially because after the discontinuity, the spinning disk blocks the view of the wires and the rest of the assembly. You don't see these again for the rest of the video.

The magnets are like a stage magician's patter: they distract your attention away from what is really happening.

why I like this site

i like this site (aside from the fact that we have the jw experience in common) because i have come to realize that all of you are very creative, interesting & courageous.

it takes a special person to exit the jw's.

we all of course are also very different & thats good because we can learn from each other.

I like that this site is open to all types of people and all sorts of opinions. It's a refreshing change from that alternate reality zone, where being different is forbidden and thinking is a crime. If you've been in a protective environment and have a thin skin, yes, it takes a while to learn how to play well with others, but that itself is a valuable learning experience.

I like hearing what others have to say. I don't agree with you all, but that's part of life. You learn that way, you grow that way.

I like knowing that others have had been through some of the strange experiences I've seen, and made it through to a real life on the other side.

I like how much I've learned by lurking here for almost two years before I first posted here. It helped me more than I could ever imagine.

Thank you all, and especially Simon for making this board happen.

I Fly my Flag...

for 28 years i was told to hate my country and i did, they were controlled by satan and against god...well i have given up satan and god and religion and i fly my flag of the united states of america proudly every day... up at dawn and down at dusk...and this weekend on the 4th of july i shall fly it with pride....

I fly mine, too! There's a lot to be said of a country where people feel free to say things like

"Actually Satan and the United States are one in the same ..."

without fear of deportation, prison, or execution. It's not a perfect place, but it is better than many others!
