i have a favor to ask and it's a problem that's been driving me crazy for weeks.. my site freeminds.org is on a virtual server system (site5.com) where it can not go down more than a few minutes, or a copy server kicks in.
but despite numerous chats with the techs with little results, here is my dilemma:.
currently the site has been displaying this picture, from yesterday am to the rest of today:.
I have been seeing outdated versions of the site from cache on one computer, but not the other. Both run Windows 7 and Firefox 4.0.1. Using "private browsing mode" corrects it. This has been happening for a while now; I figured it was a problem on my end so I haven't said anything about it.
Edited to add: In private mode, I see the Ray Franz article. In normal mode, I see an older version of the page, with Lady Lee's article dated May 23rd.
Edited again to add: Yes, clearing the cache made it load the up-to-date page.
i mostly post fluff and music posts on this thread more often now but just thought i would let some people here who still know me about what has been goin on with me recently.
my dad about a 7 month battle with lung cancer which metastasized to the bones and he died early wed morning.
my dad was a fascinating man, complex, sometimes open and sometimes a very aloof and detached person.
She brought out the best in him and if it wasn't for the love she gave him and their bond I wouldn't have gotten to see just how wonderful of a man my father could be.
I'm sorry to hear about your dad, LRG. I'm glad he had your wonderful step-mother to show him those good years at the end, and that you came to know the person inside the tough outer shell.

who will use his name in death

Alone
with the advances in digital communication, when will society move to paperless?.
nooks/kindles are making books obsolete.
computer/internet is making newsprint obsolete.
The more we hear about the "paperless office", the more toner cartridges we buy. When the printed word was more dear in terms of time and effort, there was a business reason for every document. Today's more efficient business tools have been used not to eliminate paper, but to facilitate the production of more and larger documents than ever before.
i was on the us copyright page for something else and happened to put jw's in the search.
they basically copyright everything!!!
km's, you name it.
I understand that paying to register the copyright has advantages if you contemplate going to court to enforce it (i.e., sue somebody). Perhaps Aguest, BOTR, Justitia, or some other professional would elaborate on that?
