Yes, during the 60's--while the Cuban Missle Crisis was going on. The teacher yelled "Down!", and we were to dive under our desks, tuck our arms over our heads, and close our eyes tight. There also was a large tin of water and cartons of survival biscuits stashed in the teacher's closet in the back of the classroom.

my sister has breast cancer too.
she has had it longer than me.

Nostalgia
by d indoes anybody here feel nostalgic for old tv and cartoons.it seems that with time televsion has gone down hill.i rember cartoons of the 90's and i see what is on tv now and i just lose interest, does anybody feel like that at times?

Check the location on Googlemaps: search for "Smoky Hill and Oak Hill, Aurora CO". What appears to be the future driveway for this property is directly opposite the main access road (Millbrook Way) to a subdivison on the north side of Oak Hill. I think the traffic concerns are valid; filling and emptying a 1000 space parking lot 43 weekends a year would overwhelm a residential feeder road like Oak Hill.

Asked a co-worker to join Egg and me for my BD dinner...
by White Dove inhe's a guy and upon request, he gave me his e-mail address so he could give me a yes or a no to my invitation to join us tonight for dinner.. after i asked him if he'd like to join us, he snickered and said i don't know.
give me a couple of hours to think about it.
i asked him four hours later if he had decided, yet, but he hadn't even thought about it yet.. i said that it's not a test question, no right or wrong answer.. he asked where and i said it's a nice place uptown.. he said that he needed to think about it because of the dress up thing.. i said he didn't need to dress up, that just slacks and a nice shirt would do.. that was two days ago, and i haven't heard back from him, yet, although i did e-mail him so he could let me know.. i'm the wheels for the evening, so i needed to know so i could pick him up, or not.. does no answer (seems like avoidance) mean no, or is there some other excuse that might (wanna say rescue his ass but won't say it) be plausible?.

Jesus Trashes 1914 in ONE Sentence!
by Farkel init only takes one short sentence from the bible to thoroughly demolish the watchtower religion and the doctrine they claim is their most important one.
this sentence is so crystal clear that there is no way the wts can weasal out of it.
that's why they don't even try.. although their real most important doctrine is that the governing body speaks for god, their claimed most important doctrine begins with the notion that jesus took kingdom power and began reigning in 1914. if that doctrine can be shown to be false, the entire watchtower theology scam crumbles into the trash heap where it belongs.

Another point: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven" is not worded as if that event was lurking in the far-off future. This is the imperative voice, the Son of Man calling for the coming of the Kingom then, not a mere prophet telling of some event thousands of years away. Consider what Jesus said to the thief in Luke 23:43: "He answered him, 'In truth I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.' " Not a thousand years later, not 1884 years later, but today! On Good Friday, the gates of the Lord's kingdom were open.

My Ex had a loophole, she left it to unbelieving me to do the turkey. As long as she didn't make the main course, it seemed to be acceptable in her eyes.
