Getting into Arguments with JW's...

i'm trying to fade away, but i sometimes find myself in discussions or arguments with jw family/friends/white haired virgin elders.

now, i usually have them beat on things but i'm not very experienced, so i was thinking if you guys could help me put together a list of completely unanswerable questions to pose to my jw friends/family/elders so they can stop bugging me.

if i keep asking them questions they simply cannot answer, then they might leave them alone.

1) False Prophecies (yet claim to be Jehovah's Spokesman.)

Mad: Again the deception. Not false PORPHECIES, but false
SPECULATION as to what God's prophecies mean. It's
called being human. The Apostles and early Christians
all made such mistakes.

2) Doctrinal Changes (yet claim to be Spirit Directed)

Mad: What 'doctrines' are you referring to? Prophecy ideas?
When we first organized ourselves, it took time to
shake ourselves free from the Church Coprolite we
had all been programmed to believe.

3) Do not care for Widows and Orphans

Mad: Oh, really? I and my brothers do. The basis for your

4) Do not baptise into the name of The Father ,Son and H.S.

Mad: REALLY? Where'd you get THIS? And, btw, what IS the

5) Tamper with text of the Bible (i.e inserting name "Jehovah"
in Revelation with no reason)

Mad: No Reason. heh. You have no understanding of translations,
nor who God is, thus such a vain accusation.

6) United Nations association as a NGO. (lies after the event)

Mad: Lies? Are you are NGO member? Or are you just gulping
down what anti-JW sites say?

7) Paedophile cover-ups (should not Spirit have directed them ?)

8) Shunning of family members (D.F. ing) scriptural basis ?

Mad: Now THIS I agree with! It is absurd, and I DON'T follow
it. I have a family member who was DFed, and am still
very close to him!

10) 1914- What scriptural proof is offered for the thousands of
times they claim this is the year Jesus set up the Kingdom ?

Mad: Daniel, Revelation, and the signs Christ gave.

11) Making changes from printed versions of magazines when
they appear as bound volumes, why cover up what was "present
truth" at the time ?

Mad: Nothing wrong with THAT, however, there is NO SUCH
THING as "Present" Truth- it is or it isn't. The term SHOULD
be our Present UNDERSTANDING!

NAC- I don't read long-winded replies, or I would never get ANY work done (I'm self-employed). So I skim the CNPs, and long repliess.

If you just get to the point, or these Questions you feel we are afraid of- I would LOVE to hear them, and hopefully find an answer for you & I!
