Works always come after faith or as a result of faith, but, works do not save.

You talked about the one who has "the RIGHT to make that call". In Luke 12 Jesus talks about the one who has the right to make this call:
Luke 12:4 Moreover, I say to YOU, my friends, Do not fear those who kill the body and after this are not able to do anything more. 5 But I will indicate to YOU whom to fear: Fear him who after killing has authority to throw into Ge·hen'na. Yes, I tell YOU, fear this One. NWT
If someone is already dead (and the dead have no soul as the WT teaches), why should they fear being thrown into fiery Gehenna? Should you/we be afraid of being cremated?
Mad: First, when ones dies, their body's referred to as a "DEAD soul". How you can so easily miss the obvious is startling: we should be in Fear the One who will DESTROY souls, by casting them into the SECOND death (gehenna) from which there will BE no resurrection nor ransom.
Matt 10: 28 `And be not afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but fear rather Him who is able both soul and body to destroy in gehenna.

Wrong, Casper! Genesis opens stating that the Earth already existed as a formless waste BEFORE the Creative "Days" began, and the second chapter opens referring to the Earth being made in A "Day". And who says clergy, or WTBS? Can't you think without mindless attack?
How about Facts- NOT Theory! Science doesn't even know what "Life" is- yet pretends to know how it developed into such amazing mechanisms...on its OWN! THAT is what takes the church's version of 'Faith'- believing in such nonsense.

Getting into Arguments with JW's...

i'm trying to fade away, but i sometimes find myself in discussions or arguments with jw family/friends/white haired virgin elders.

now, i usually have them beat on things but i'm not very experienced, so i was thinking if you guys could help me put together a list of completely unanswerable questions to pose to my jw friends/family/elders so they can stop bugging me.

if i keep asking them questions they simply cannot answer, then they might leave them alone.

Jehovah planned to send His son to die, and wanted all to understand the sacrifice HE was going to make.

the watchtower has been known for over 130 years as a great scriptural cherry-picker.

they pick out disparate unrelated verses and combine them to support the wackiest of wacky doctrines.. on the other hand there are many scriptures they almost never address, whether because they contradict wt doctrine or because they simply don't have a clue what they mean or how to spin them to the wt advantage.. one of these is revelation 19:1 that mentions a "great crowd" "in heaven.

" the only time it is ever brought up it is dismissed.

Some of us MAY have too much faith in the WTBS ( I have none; I observe and consider what they say, comparing it critically with scripture- thus see the flaws & mistakes), but ALL of us have faith in Jehovah & Christ. Faith WITHOUT works is....DEAD.

Jesus said the Good News of the KINGDOM would be preached worldwide before the End comes.
To my knowledge we are the only ones who know what the Kingdom IS! (I have been meeting clergy and church people for over 30 years)
Thus I feel that one who comes to know the Truth will WANT to join those that also do- and OBEY Christ's command.
Doesn't make us better, doesn't "save" us- it's something one WANTS to do when loving God & Christ...
