>>If you don't agree with that then there is none true christian organization today on this planet earth.<<
lol!! astounding logic! astounding! i need to sit down after reading that one ...
just curious.
if they have living expenses, it must mean that they do their jobs all the time.
but these men also are of the anointed class, right?

maybe the effect of this change is bigger than realized?
in 1995, it was discussed (positively) by everybody, during the week we studied the wt.
one elder stepped down and was looked down upon.
@outlaw: dont bother, he has you on /ignore ... come to think of it .. i fall into the 'Other Trolls' class per DJChristmas' post ...
oh well, doesn't bother me ... i am a rather happy person and he's a socially retarded witness with anger management issues named after Christmas .. i'm surprised he doesn't explode or something.
dont worry DJchristmas, i happen to like christmas

trinkets like these make me want to .
when you carry the bible, satan gets a headache; when you open it, he collapses; when he sees you reading it he faints; when he sees you are living what you read, he flees!!
and when you are about to re-post this message, he will try and discourage you ... i defeated him!!
<<Lots of Witnesses are on FB. I think it's ok as long as they vet their friends and use their page to "Praise Jah" and preach. >>
why would they preach to their vetted, obviously witness friends?? o.O
oh wait, it's better to do that than to go in field circus ... silly me
i'm curious to what the lurkers think of this guy?
have you read a lot of his posts?
do you think he makes good points?
i still want to know why he chose as his name a word associated with christmas ...
i took pride as a 9 year old "boy" that i was a "minister".
i had a card that i carried in my wallet (with no money in it) that said i was a "minister"..
not really. i thought it was stupid to say that all baptised members are 'ordained ministers' ... mostly because it's comparing apples to oranges ... ordained minister to a non-dubbie means something totally different

funny how djchristmas gets rude ... too bad his overly inflated attitude is detracting from his message .. what a shame .. i dont think that christ would approve ..
ofc his name is stumbling .. how such a righteous christian could choose such an obviously demonic name is just shocking .. it smacks of secret garagesaling .. i bet he has a collection of smurfs too
i was thinking the other day that jw's hide their unique doctrines as they go door to door, because those doctrines are easily demolished, either by using the bible or common sense or a combination of both.. the three doctrines they have that are unique are:.
1) only 144.000 go to heaven.. 2) 1914 jesus enthroned in kingdom power invisibly.. 3) blood transfusion is wrong.. i think there is possibly a fourth, that jesus died on a stake and not a cross, but that one i will ignore as not important.
that is more historical than theological.. the reason i am posting this is so that i do not miss something that would be interesting to a householder, as i am thinking of composing a leaflet that a householder could give to jw's when they call, and ask the dub to explain these "hidden" doctrines, using only bible verses in context.. imagine trying to explain the latest blood fractions thing, using the bible !
dont forget pyramidology
we learn from the bible that god spoke to adam ,then certain faithful ones, then after moses only the preisthood that was established, and individuals, raised as prophets, and this by the way is only a a small select group on the planet.never mind about other groups of humans.
fastforward to the era of christ ,again, god is only dealing with a small select group to advise and admonish.during the time from moses to christ he was only dealing with what became one small nation.the rest of humankind were left to their own devices.fastforward down to this 21st century we have no guidance/instruction/prophets to instruct or guide us.
( i know this is where jw`s would say but we have been preaching & teaching you god`s truths since 1879 ) all i can say their, is take your head out of the sand and look at all the changes ,corrections adjustments,re-adjustments,reversals,and failed expectations of prophecy you have published over this last century )so as to my question why hasn`t the god of the universe revealed himself to all humans of every race on all continents instead of just a small select group, if he truly was interested in the human race.
i often asked this very question, even when still a dub. the answer that they give is so very unsatisfying, especially if you use your brain. personally, i do not see what is wrong with god revealing himself in such a way that leaves zero doubt as to who he is. since we have free will, it would still be our choice to follow him (if that is truly an option). all this 'proof negates faith' argument is weak imo. especially since so many man-made organizations have impersonated god and done evil, twisted things ..
that's just my opinion though.
i am wondering a few things.... when you were an active jw, did others in your congregation leave for true apostacy reasons and did you know?
when (year) did they and what year did you leave?.
how many people were in your congregation and how many left before you did (or you think left)?
i knew of many who left, in every cong i was ever in. some were piosneers, some were elduhs, some were regular blokes. two stick out in my mind - both were elduhs. the first one left because his wife became an 'evil apostate' and actively hindered the local jw's (sounds like she woke up) and the 2nd left (was df'd) because i am certain that he cracked. he was a full time piosneer, an elduh, worked full-time and had a horrible shrew of a wife. was only a matter of time but the guy cracked bigtime. after awhile, people were gossiping that he was an apostate.
in all cases, we avoided them like lepers. makes me sad that i did that now, but unfortunately that is what we were taught we must do.
