The 'Carlin Step'
by WhatAboutWatson ini don't know about you folks but music now a days seem to lack real artistic intergrity on the radio.
lady gaga was born some way, i assume and hope from the departure of a womb.
britney spear's "hold it against me" is a metaphor for s&m love making and bruno mar's "grenade" will be used in the next peral harbor film.. one song though not only has me tapping my feet but it has me thinking!.

I love this song. Thanks for sharing.
Side note: Lady Gaga is surprisingly talented. There was a performance of a chamber work of hers at a New Music concert at UNT. I had no idea. Lol

My personal favorite argument from nature is that homosexuality is natural and created by Godâ„¢ based on the species of lesbian lizards. My mom's reaction when I mentioned them to her is "that's why they're called beasts".

Does the WTBTS purposely distort the number of anointed remaining?
by lifeisgood ini am trying to prove or disprove a statement that i read today.
i read a statement by someone that i trust that the wtbts purposely distorts the number of anointed left alive in their reports.. i used to be a jehovah's witness.
i know all of their teachings very well.

To the theists: Your reaction if God hypothetically changed the standards of right and wrong
by simon17 ini have more to say on this and its implications, but i'll keep this short to get some initial discussion.
to those that believe in god, suppose he were to hypothetically change various standards of right and wrong, suppose with the new scrolls to be opened.
things such as rape, theft and immorality are now perfectly fine and acceptable.

@The Oracle: I think you kind of bipassed the question. You imply that there is such a thing as absolute good and bad that completely separate from God and that even if God considered it good it would still be bad.

Jehovah's Witnesses and their hypocritical entertainment choices.
by Scooby-Doo inthe couple that i studied with were major hypocrites when it came to their entertainment choices.
i remember the first time i was invited to their house for dinner, this was the first time that we just hung out socially, and they were playing music.
a song came on sung by a girl group that liked to pretend they were bisexuals (or lesbians, whatever) and i thought 'hey, maybe these witnesses are pretty relaxed and cool after all'.. boy was i wrong.

Last time I stayed with my parents, they had just watched Avalon High, and were in another room arguing about the Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who because of their "demonic content", and whether they should buy the DVDs and just not watch those particular episodes. I had enough of their arguing and told them that they were hypocrites for having just watched a movie about sorcery and reincarnation and then arguing about a show which had aliens masquerading as monsters.
Needless to say, they didn't take that so well...

I've always preferred this one... Though I was really sad when I found out you can't get Eyes on Me on CD (there are some copyright issues that they were never able to release it on the OST)
