i've hired a personal trainer to help me reach my weight loss goals...i started on march 1st of this year and have already lost 6 ibs and inches since then...the reason why i lost those 6 ibs is that i've lost inches and i'm soooo SHOCKED and HAPPY at the same time!!! my first weight loss goal weight is to be at least 150 ibs by end of may.

i would have gotten baptized a long time ago around 20 years old of course...to where i would have helped out at Bethel a long time ago...
i would have stopped having sex at 20 til i got married..
i would have stayed in school and gone on to college..
i should listen to my woman's intuition a lot more...if i had i would not have gone through the last relationship i was in...and i would have warned my friends before they died just a few hours after i had the "warning" come to me.

Have They Ever Given a Figure of How Many Are to Die at Armageddon?
by cameo-d inhas wt ever published a number of how many they expect to die at armageddon?.
will it bring the population down to the georgia guidestones advice for a manageable level?.
.

im sure they have not...because they can't judge who's going to die at armageddon ONLY Jehovah and Jesus can...much like the "day and the hour" scripture that none of us know no matter what religion we may belong to we don't know the day nor the hour of the armegeddon or whatever the time period before armegeddon is i forgot what that's named...and not even Jesus knows that time period ONLY his father Jehovah knows.

the congregation bible study...they do use the scriptures...look it up in the bible...the jws and not only jws but the public also make comments that the answers are not in the paragraphs...in fact ppl are encouraged not to read from the paragraphs but for those that are shy they do read the answers from the paragraphs and also cite the scripture where its founded in as well...jws are also told that the bible is the main thing..not any publications....the publications are like visionaries for the public...along with news around the world...and examples of jws lives of what they were before they learned of bible truth..

Handbill for 2010 District Conventions
by dozy inthe wts has announced the usual handbill invitation "campaign" for the conventions this year.
i haven't seen a copy but i assume that it will be similar to the one for congregation meetings and from previous years.
the usual 30 per publisher allocation.. i seriously wonder about the efficacy of these campaigns.

i have to say that the distribution of ANY convention or assembly handbill is NOT a waste of time...i know from experience out in service that a brother got a hold of a woman that her relative is a jw...and that she was thinking about going to kansas anyways...this was out in oklahoma territory...she told the brother with me right there that thats just more of the reason to go because she loved the conventions and assemblies and she didn't know where one was held at....even when i wasn't a jw i went to the conventions and assemblies because i loved them...they made a lot of sense...PLUS you get to look into the bible A LOT!!!
another note...the audio for the assemblies and the conventions are on the fm radio and if you have an fm recorder you can record them and it has great sound quality...they even mention what radio station it is on and the frequency...the conventions and assemblies ive been at its been fm...
jws also offer to people of interest that if they don't have transportation they will be glad to take them with no fee whatsoever!!! also for ones who are not able to make it to convention or assemblies the jws also go through whats going to be covered and they'll be glad to go through those in peoples OWN copy of the bible...

How did you feel when they let a 10 year old boy stand up on the podium and a sister couldn't ?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inone thing that really bothered me about the ministry school was letting a little boy around 10 years old read an outline and scripture.
he faced and addressed the audience.
he was actually teaching.

what exactly do u mean do i think its fair that men can do women stuff and do more men stuff in the congregation?? not following you on that please explain...i dont think it's imbalanced if the teenage boy is leading a roomful of older sisters, if the boy is qualified to do that regardless of his age and is baptized brother in good standing, regardless of race, age, etc...etc..i see nothing wrong with that. regardless of age and sex and race and other prejudices we all can learn things from other people. whether the old is learning something new from the young ones in which ive seen that happen and i learn things alot from young ones as well regardless of my religion. the young male leading older sisters again i see nothing imbalanced with a different reason as well because how else is a young one going to learn how to do things like that? its practice for the young man to do when he gets older..
and yes have i actually gone to a church service??? yes i have to many of these and all i seen were females silent while listening to the male speaker, the only thing the females partook in were singing songs from the songbook. and the rest of the churchgoers both male and female just sat there listening to speaker, again not partaking in comments...some i been to the churchgoers didnt even sing from songbooks either they just listened to the "qualified" singers onstage.
wow the microphones with gauze so it wont be desecrated with female...never been to a kingdom hall where that happened and ive been to many kingdom halls as well...never been to a kingdom hall where they had stretchers either in fact never been to a kingdom hall where they were strict on things or had the males feel so darn superior to the females but i only been in kingdom halls within the "bible belt" of the usa.

i think its pretty cool...for one thing females in the congregation should be grateful that they actually get to do anything in the congregation besides just sitting in the meetings...i'm a female myself and i'm very grateful that females get to participate in the congregation...that they get to voice their experiences out in their part of the service...that they get to have parts in the congregation...you have to remember females are a part of God's Army...that we are quite a large army as well...in other religions that ive seen ive seen only males go up and talk to the audience...not even females participating out in audience or even going up and give a presentation...

What kinds of qualities does a faithful Jehovah’s Witness have?
-self control
-honesty
-trust
-loving
-respectful
-obedient
What kinds of things does a person need to do to become this kind of faithful Jehovah’s Witness?
-change their worldly ways (i.e. if they smoked, had sex out of marriage, live with the opposite sex without being married...etc...etc)
What kinds of things would a faithful Jehovah’s Witness NOT do that people in other religions do?
-WILL NOT CELEBRATE HOLIDAYS (because of pagan origins)
-NOT live with people of the opposite sex that they're not married to
-will NOT have sex outside of marriage
How much time do you consider a faithful Jehovah’s Witness needs to spend in studying the Bible and Bible literature each week to develop the qualities that help them stay faithful?
depends on the person..each person is different.
How and why is Witnessing important in being a faithful Jehovah’s Witness and why do Jehovah’s Witnesses usually go witnessing in pairs?
Witnessing is important because if it wasn't for Jehovah's Witnesses coming to their door sharing the good news of God's kingdom to them they would probably not have changed their ways and lived according to what God wants them to...so they become baptized because they want to and be able to share what they learned from the bible to other people so the people they witness to can have an informed decision whether or not they want to change their ways and serve God. Why do JWs usually go witnessing in pairs? because they are following Jesus's instructions as layed out in the bible when he had witnesses go out in twos in the new testament.
What do you think is the greatest danger to the spiritual life of a Jehovah’s Witness?
SATAN...he can come in many subtle forms...family...friends...colleagues...etc...etc...
Why do you think Jehovah’s Witnesses are growing so fast?
because people are tired of the hypocrisy that most religions have shown...so people are taking a chance and listening to what JWS have to say...what they are all about...and they experience for themselves that JWS are different from most religions because they see the love among fellow witnesses...they are actually teaching what the bible has to say...not what this person said or the other person...but what the bible actually does say about certain subjects.
What appeals to you most about being a Jehovah’s Witness?
different cultures, ethnic groups...that they're not afraid of using God's name...they share the good news of God's kingdom to anyone who will listen..bravery to go to a stranger and talk about God....that they share the good news in many different languages and in same literature as well...people can have bible studies anywhere at work, school, library, their own home...they adapt to people's schedules they can give a witness in 5 mins or less or more depending on the person they're talking to time.

i know of a witness that had the daily text on their myspace page and that witness had a talkin to to take it down....the witness had good intentions because they had so many friends on there and wanted to blog it..and whoever read it had a witness to them....without feeling like they were "preaching" to them...i mean what's the difference between sharing with a friend the daily text and blogging it on a social networking page....i mean "apostates" even get a copy of the daily text and everything else....and yeah i honestly don't think there's a difference with posting an article you like from the magazines and sharing it with a friend...i wonder if anyone ever posted just scriptures from the NWT and were asked to take it down
