Being an Atheist Is Bad For Your Health
by Space Madness ini stopped believing in god in july 2013. in the first 3 months or so i felt liberated and relieved that i can live my life anyway i wanted without worrying about an invisible being watching my every move.
i also felt slightly superior that i was able to figure out that god isn't real while the majority of mankind continued to be fooled.
atfer the feelings of excitment statrted to wear off, i started to become more depressed and empty.

@Space Madness.
Recently I was contemplating different frameworks for interpreting the Bible.
I came up with three.
Religious.
Atheist.
Spiritual.
Having tried the first two, what are your thoughts on the latter?
Greetings

ALL JW's to be at the meeting this week...
by Newly Enlightened in.
we asked this person if it could be aqbout the terminology change and they said that was already read last week...... we remember the last time they did this.
got everyone all excited thinking the big "a" was coming and all it was about, was the literature would now be donated instead of charging for it.. .

I'm feeling a bit agnostic this weekend.
by quellycatface ini am a bit up and down due to my bipolar.still feeling a bit yucky, angry and sad due to the borg etc.i didn't go to church today but at least i haven't got anyone asking me where i was, or i would feel better if i'd gone to the meeting, blah blah blah.. my relationship with god is between the 2 of us and it's not open to speculation or analysis from anyone.. i stayed in bed this morning with coffee and the papers.

What's the BIGGEST WEAK LINK in the WTS Armor?
by Black Man in.
is it the pedophile thing, ngo, generation change, blood issue?
what do you think it is?.

It certainly seems to be that there is something intangible or metaphysical about their ability to hold their followers captive for so long despite so much evidence of their bad fruit, corruption, illegitimacy and irrelevance.
But, yes, their end is assured.
Not if, but when.

Their own publications.
Their own fruit.
Their fear of TTATGN.

Why do JW Boards BAN Questioners, While Questioning Sites INVITE JWs??
by Seeker4 inwhy is it that on jw discussion boards, anyone who brings up difficult issues or questions will soon be banned from the site, while sites like this one where debate and discussion are encouraged, we welcome believing jws with open arms?.
of course, most of us here know the answer to that!
but it is something to take note of, and to mention when you get a chance.. there was a recent post about a jw group on facebook.

All reasonable questions and questioners welcome on JWN but not on JW websites.
Indeed.
Plus on JWN there are answers for difficult or inconvenient questions about the Watchtower.

Questions for WT Library users on "Legalism" (TTATGN series, no. 2)
by Fernando ingood day to all jwners.
this series of ttatgn questions is especially for those of us who (want to learn) use the watchtower library (to help our trapped loved ones find liberation).. today's focus is on "legalism" a word that appears once in the entire watchtower library, in a great article, which reads like a summary of ray franz' book isocf.. please share your thoughts on how any or all these (socratic method) questions may be asked and/or answered by ourselves and those we seek to help:.
what is legalism?what is the opposite of legalism?is legalism apostasy?what is moralism?is moralism similar to legalism?what is meant by "law vs grace"?explain the "5 solas" in a single sentence.looking forward to your ideas and suggestions.. fernando.
