  If a JW Came To Your Door How Would You Handle It?

  jehovah's witnesses have never come to my door but they have come to my girlfriends door.

  i have coached her as to what to say or ask but it appears that they always seem to come when she's not there.

  .....just curious would you get into it with a jehovah's witness at your door especially if it was someone you did not know?.

  In my 44 years as a third generation born-in not a single Christian ever shared the liberating gospel of grace with me, when knocking at their doors.

  All they had to do was ask a simple question.

  • "What is the gospel in one word?"
  • "Is a right and clean standing with God earned or imputed?"
  • "Where do you stand on the 5 solas?"
  • "Where do you stand on law versus grace?"
  • "Where do you stand on faith versus works?"
  • "Is legalism apostasy?"

  What a pity no one had the ability or courage to ask a simple question...

  hello friends,.

  after receiving a letter at my home calling me for a "judicial audience" after having quit 5 years ago the jw, i decided to go to the police and talk about the policy within jw.org: social abuse, judicial threats and in my case sexual abuses.. a national newspaper in spain www.elperiodico.es has decided to give visibility to this situation.

  a friend of mine told me about a huge elders meeting in southern california.

  the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.

  What is the purpose of life?

  while reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.

  because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".

  i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

  I thought somebody would say, somethinglike Catholics, or Muslims or some other answer are closer to the true religion than JWs.
  

  The Watchtower only invented the concept of "true religion" and "false religion" in 1950.

  Their original teaching is correct: all religion is a snare and a racket.

  Jesus' followers know who they are, and who he is, apart from man-made hierarchy, dogma, organisations, positions, labels and titles.

  This is a deep inner knowing that results from pursuing the liberating gospel of grace - the exact thing that unleashed the Bethel witch-hunt and purge in the early 1980's and for which Ray Franz was hounded and surreptitiously disfellowshipped.

  i'm quite surprised about the new approach of some local congregation brothers respect about my fade.... funny, ilegal and very dangerous in view of the different laws regarding personal data and minorities in spain and in the eu.... i already organized a press meeting with main newspapers in spain.

  many has shown interest in this situation.

  the fact of that a parallel judicial system do exist is amazing them.
