Can you Believe Some of the New Posters on Here?

in life, i usually trust new people, at least on face value, until i discover otherwise.

yet, my normal belief system is now in doubt.

i've just replied to a thread started by 'goldensky' - an alleged spanish lady with lots of history as an extremely devout jw in spain.

well finallyyy i was able to create an account here after trying several times and being unsuccessful.

thanks to the mods for helping me out.

i have been hanging around this site for several months now.

I am lucky enough to have the Awake magazine from Oct 1968 that everyone quotes from, not a bound copy, but the actual one.. and to be honest.. having read it all.. how anyone with an ounce of common stayed in the org after 1975 is beyond me... but then not having ever been in I have no idea of the strangle hold they have over you.. just no way that a simple.. 'we didn't really say that' would cut it.. cause we really did say that.. so to speak...

Very best wishes on your journey out, may you have around you all the folks you need to help you and I too agree with Black sheep.. take your time and do it the way you want to do it, not the way others might want you to.

Starting to write here after reading for years

i decided to join the group though im reading this forum since years now.

i almost know you all....by nickname i mean..... my husband joined you a few years ago already.

but i do not feel so free of speech because english is not my mother tongue, but i read a lot english books, have some relations with english speaking people, have a nice friend who is active on this forum and very known (because of her discoveries), so i will try to do my best.

Well done to you for taking this step to introduce yourself to us all, I do understand how hard that must have been. I too wish you all the best in this journey that you are taking along with your husband.

My prayers are for you both to find peace and love out side of the society, which I am totally sure sure you will do.
