Glad to see your local congregation follows the "do not call" list. Ours doesn't.
I'm really tempted to paper the neighborhood with fliers about The Truth.
dub's are here in my neighborhood!!!!
i was watching them knock on everyone's door, but skipped over mine.
i asked my wife about it, and she kindly stated she put us on the "do not call" list.

after 30 long, sad, disappointing and frustrating years in the wts, i wrote my letter of disassociation on october 11,1999. i had been reading the posts on the old h2o forum for a year, and had discovered, to my horror, how cleverly and how badly i had been duped and deceived by this organization.
it took a year of research and indecision to come to the conclusion that i would be far better off without the delusional leaders telling how to take every step in my life.. i had a few awful months of feeling very lost and quite alone, but with time, more research and common sense prevailing, i began to breathe again.
thankfully, i never lost my faith in jesus, and that faith grew, blossomed and flourished as i began to know who he really was.
Congratualtions, Annie! I'm glad to hear your success story. :)
welcome to all, including you silent lurkers --- and yes, bethel monitors, too.. apparently, i am defined by the watchtower society ( of pennsylvania and new york) as an "apostate".. however, i want you to know that i do not participate in any orgies.
i do not worship satan.
i am not addicted to, nor do i use illegal drugs.
Well done, metatron. I like the idea of a list of all the things we "apostates" don't do.
here is a scan from the dec 15 09 wt (study ed) with a graph of how a witness should apportion their time to remain joyful.. .
so according to this graph, to remain joyful a witness should spend 3 times as much of his waking hours in 'theocratic activities' as he should in secular work!
hopscotch.
The "Christian Meetings" DOES look like a town hall meeting in South Park. Is that Cartman's mom in the purple in the front row?

It said I should be Wiccan.
I already am.
i know i have threatened to do this before, like when i first left.
but i am thinking of going to college.
this time, i feel determined.
DO IT.
The only time it's too late to go back to school is after you're dead.
there are millions of reasons for millions of our citizens to expect affordable health insurance from our govt.
a very sad one.... .

He isn't taking care of his mother; he's doing this for his wife. Part of what makes this so sad (for me, anyway) is that this is an 40 year-old man with a family who has to sign up to risk his life in order to save his wife's.
so i was wondering, i use my computer for everything (i know, everyone does), but especially for a lot of graphics stuff and for youth outreach.
i've noticed that my system has been running slow lately and it's been crashing a lot.
i had norton & avg loaded on my system, so i never dreamed i would have a virus, but i did.
I'm not a fan of CyberDefender, just because they charged a friend more than $200 to clean his computer and give him a year's subscription. The package does what it's supposed to, but it's a little too pricey for me.
If you are on a Windows machine: have you checked out Microsoft Security Essentials? It's free and seems to work pretty well.
"the world is full of bibles, which book contains the commandments of god.
why, then, do the people not know which way to go?
because they do not also have the teaching or law of the mother, which is light.
Deputy Dog nailed it. By making themselves the intermediary between the masses and god, they've replaced Jesus altogether. Check out the literature -- Jesus sure doesn't get as much ink as the Faithful and Discreet Slave.
I won't be surprised if they say that Jesus was just the sacrifice needed to create the Watchtower organization.
Big Tex, your post made me cry. You've explained it all so much better than I have ever been able to. Thank you a thousand times over.
