To Active COs/DOs
by Maximus ina major news organization is in final process of preparing a tv program addressing the issues raised by silentlambs.
its producers and investigator reporters wish to be fair and unbiased, and are seeking broad input and insight.. another such organization has been attracted to the child abuse issue but does not wish to duplicate what's covered.
they are in the initial stages of examining the blood issue and that of enforced shunning and its consequences, in the light of human rights issues globally.

Maximus,
Your last post causes me to think you're not getting many responses from the active COs and DOs. When the program airs perhaps they'll write letters of complaint. I guess it's better being victims than pro-active to show how Satan is out to get them.

Any Buckeye's Here
by larc infor those who don't know what a buckeye is, it is the state tree of ohio.
it also grows in michigan, but most michiganders try to kill them off and burn them at ohio state - michigan football games when ohio state loses.
the buckey tree produces brown fruit that look like a chestnut, except they are poisonous.

larc & jjs,
"Oops" is right--No I really don't work at the Kingdom Hall! Thanks for catching that, larc. Sorry for the misunderstanding, jjs.

Give blood?
by spike ini had a conversation with my doctor.
i decided to use blood.
i wanted to know my blood type.

JAVA
Thanks for listing that useful information, peaceloveharmony. Giving blood is a wonderful act of showing kindness towards another. The JW icky-factor about blood can linker for years, and a lifetime for some folks. Roll up your sleeve and give the gift that can mean life for another. It's also a way of telling the Tower to kiss off--you are in control of your life, not them!

Hello jjs,
I live just down the street from the KH in Kettering.
It's a very small world, my friend, that's where I work! You'll find me in the building just south of the hospital, which is their medical college. My name in the real world is Michael Henry, and anyone at the college can put you through to my office. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi jonjonsimons,
My partner and I live in Kettering.
Wow jjs, I work in the same town where you live! I didn't know larc and I have another neighbor from this group living in the same area. We'll need to get together over a cup of coffee sometime. It's nice having you on the forum.
Hi Cavalier,
Cincinnati is only 45 miles south of Dayton, maybe we could have an informal Apos-O-Fest with all of these Buckeyes in the area. Glad this thread enticed you to post--welcome to the forum!

Tina is an honorary Buckeye for observing:
Wish I could join ya's. Seems like a really cool core of apostasy there
You're always welcome in Ohio, Tina!

Hey there King of the South.
As you said, I live in Dayton, too. BTW, I received a letter yesterday from someone in Columbus, Ohio inviting me (and any others who want to come) to a backyard X-JW picnic this Sunday . I don't know where he got my mailing address (don't know the person), but he sent a map and listed a phone number. Did you or anyone else get an invite to Columbus, this Sunday?
I might call the number to see if it's a group of fundamentalist, and if not, I might go. I'm usually willing to enjoy the company of former JWs if they're not trying to "save" others.
