  my son wants to say hi to everyone on the forum.

  as one of the main drivers to us exiting the cult he is very excited about never going to a meeting again.. if i knew how to load pictures i would let you see his plan for christmas lights next year.

  apparently we are having a sleigh with reigndeers.

  Do JWs still try to get into locked security apartments to leave tracts?

  it was once a very common practice of jws when distributing "special" tracts (the tractwork) that if they encountered a locked security apartment they would wait for someone to exit or leave, and then enter, or they would get one resident to let them in, and then they would leave the tract at every apartment door within the complex.. isn't that trespassing?.

  do the jws still do this?.

  JW MIL having surgery - Elders there are the "blood nazis"

  so my jw mother-in-law is having some rather major abdominal surgery today.

  given the type of surgery, there is a chance that the blood issue may come up, where in worst case if there's a loss of blood she may need a transfusion.. so in the waiting room for the entire 3 1/2 hour surgery are two elders.

  these guys don't know my mil that well, and they are not there to support her... when it comes down to it:.

  I'm glad your mother came through the surgery well,and that,blood was not an issue.

  My mother is having surgery soon,and she is getting all her paperwork in order,making sure she receives no blood. There is going to be a lot Witnesses in the waiting room too.

  yes, that is a good illustration brotherdan.

  And the shark cage would have been a better illustration,then,old tweety in a cage. It reminds me of the poem by Maya Angelou, "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings". It's rather a sad poem, I think about the bird longing for freedom. Sort,of, how I felt when I first started posting here.

  I'm sorry but birds were meant to fly free! (No offense to those who have birds as pets.)
