Nice Reminder

so, i received a wake up call in the last 48 hours that reminded me of the need to keep my head down if i don't want to get my ass df'd for apostasy.

I understand what you're going through. I just told my best friend I was having doubts,and now,she doesn't even respond to e-mails.

Then,it's easy to question yourself. It's a scary situation,turning your back on what you've always now. And there doesn't seem to be a middle ground for the Witnesses. You're either with them or against them.

But, it's true,if you want to stay under the radar and not be d'fd,you have to just not comment. It's hard,because you hear so many ludicrous comments from Witnesses. But,anymore,to keep peace,I just don't say anything.

Plus,I've gradually deleted all Witnesses I know on my facebook. And I won't be accepting any friend requests from them either. If they were good dubs they wouldn't be on facebook anyway.lol.

jah gave us such a loving organization, full of brothers and sisters, full of unity no matter the race, culture, gender or background, the loving faithful and discreet slave with jesus christ as its mediator, the channel, between jesus and us, why should we seek assoication with the world???.

can anyone answer this question....why should we??

Because "worldly" people don't judge you based on your service time or meeting attendance. And I don't fit in any of the cliques in the worldwide organiziation.

ok, so to night i was going to give a talk and of course i waited to the last min.....well then i just happen to get sick and just never showed up...oh no whatever will i do?!?!?!

This happened to me too,recently. I just handed my slip back to the School condutor and said I wasn't able to give my talk. He didn't ask why.

I will have to later talk to him about needing a break from the school,because of stressful circumstances. Fortunately,he isn't the type to ask questions.

There is an advantage to being a single sister though. Fading,is so much easier,because hardly anyone cares or notices you're gone.

A certain District Overseer even told the circuit not to have gym memberships,because you're being conceited and you may be tempted to commit adultery.

Someone told me at their Circuit Assembly,they were counselled against watching "Little Mermaid" and playing space invaders. They really are years behind here.

that's why i was never baptized.

My cousin got engaged to a Canadian sister nineteen days of meeting each other.

by RULES & REGULATIONS in

my cousin went to canada in february to meet a witness sister who is scriptually divorced from her husband.

they found that they liked each other enough to continue a relationship.. ( he lives in the united states) he went back to canada 19 days later to ask her in marriage.

They will both be sorry. Why did he have to go to Canada anyway? There should be a few local sisters to choose from.

But, I think the "the monkey" is right on this one.

And it is just stupid. That's the problem with a lot of Witness marriages. They think just because they're both in the "truth",that it's an automatic happy ending. One sister,still single and in her 60's, told me that you choose your marriage mate by their level of spirituality. Ugh,there are so many other factors.
