I Think My Marriage Is Over...

he has a wife and two babies and he is messaging and whatever with some other woman and he thinks HE's going survive the big A???? he needs to get a better handle on his religion. he is being disloyal to his own, his familly and seeking something elsewhere - that is according to the religion as good as adulterous behavior which means he is raptor meat.
do what you must, cognac....but put those little kids as your number one priority. they need love and a stable home environment.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh connie. if people are walking all over you, you must realize that you alone can stop it. you have opened the door for them to do so and you alone can close it.
anti-depressants for anxiety and panic are NOT necessarily addictive. paxil has very bad side effects and i would never ever tell anyone to go with that particular drug - but you must realize that with some of us, one of the main symptoms of a chemical imbalance is unbridled anger - extreme irritability - and just explosively feeling like you can't stand anything anymore and there is no way out. you certainly give that effect......sooo..........give the meds a try....it can open a whole new life for you.
and stop letting people use you. and don't worry about your mother.......worry about yourself and strive for your own peace of mind and happiness.
and CHILL!!!!

Genesis 3:16 - As to ALL Women... or One Woman? A Favor, Please...

so, as some of you might know (or discern)... or not... i am not your usual submissive/in subjection kind of girl.
given what some apparently expect of women... as wives, daughters, female friends... and in general... i was curious about the greater fulfillment of genesis 3:16, because many are of the belief that it applies to all women as to all men... (including those that aren't their husbands)... and not the just one being addressed at the time (eve as to adham).. personally, other than paul's position on women teaching in public (which was borne of what was occurring in the region at the time, due to by-then jewish culture and roman occupation)... and peter's admonishment for wives to submit themselves to their own husbands... that i know of nothing that validates a woman being in subjection to anyone other than her own husband, and even then such "subjection" is not puerile or unrestrained (so as to just be a given), but borne of love and respect for her husband (in which case it should not be difficult)... who is obligated to honor her, as well.

i think the patriarchal system has caused much damage over the centuries, and that people should realize that one sex is no better than the other, merely different. a man and a woman can work and live together harmoniously if they express and live with mutual respect and consideration. neither should attempt to dominate the other.
religious systems have traditionally been based on the ancient patriarchal system. where it is very deeply imbedded and rigid, such as in certain islamic communities, women suffer and are treated as animal property. there is nothing loving or purposeful in that. denying individuals education and human rights simply because of what they were born with for genitalia goes against all reason and justice and love. other religious systems are less strict, but still maintain dominance of the male, and it typically results in friction sooner or later. many fear that women want to relegate males to a lesser role and assume the dominant one - and likely there are those who think that would be lovely, but really not......the sane thing is to want to celebrate our differences in character, talents and abilities, while nurturing eachother, growing and developing and spreading the love, self-assurance and self-esteem.

from what marvin shilmer writes - sounds like cheating compared to the olden days of real trudging h-h.....i bet a lot of those supposed 70 or 50 hours a month are inflated radically anyway......what a bunch of hooey....

our four day assemblies in the 1970's through the 1980's were pure torture.. they were held at a horse race track in cicero,il in the smoking hot and humid month of july.
they charged around $2 for parking.

i remember it well.....yankee stadium - heat, humidity....total discomfort...........that olympic stadium in montreal in 1978 was one of the worst.........who thought it could get so hot and humid in canada.....even summers in the local kh were hell with no a/c and those plastic chairs....you'd end up in sitting in a puddle of sweat. crazy, crazy....
