13Anybody at an assembly right now?
by OneDayillBeFree ini know this is a long shot and my identity as a witness is certainly at stake but anyone at a circuit assembly right now who is mentally out/disfellowshipped/faded who'd like to meet up?.
i can't disclose the location but i'm curious though.
i mean i know that there are assemblies and conventions all year long so i'm pretty sure there's more than one going on now but i'm extremely bored and annoyed and can barely keep from showing my anger at hipocresy and lies that are being said on the platform!

Tractazine or Minizine ... What do you call them now?
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite init looks like data-dog has issued his vote for tractazine as the moniker for the new half-sized wt magazines.. i had also proposed minizine as a descriptive name.. or course ragazine, half-asleep!, and half-botchtower are appropriate.. any other votes or suggestions?.

? Curious: How many Jehovah's Witnesses leave to join "non-christian" religions, ie; Wicca, Pagan, Satanists, Buddists, Hindu, etc. ?
by Balaamsass init may seem a strange question, but when i served as an elder i personally knew of about a dozen elders and servants children who joined various wicca groups or became buddists rather than leave to become agnostic or another "christian" denomination.. the ones who became involved with witchcraft did so in groups of jw children intregued by all the talk of satan's and the demon's power etc.
in the org.. the future buddists seemed turned off by the politics, and mean spiritness in halls.. i just thought of this after seeing the new dismal yearbook numbers and looking at facebook pages of some of the ex jws i know.. was this simply a california thing or is it worldwide?.

seriously?!? all i'm left with is a complete antipathy for organized religion. i like the idea of the chakras, yin/yang....zen....yoga....but not as a religion per se.....................i still do want to go to a religious service in one of the large grand ancient cathedrals - such as in Britain.....just for the experience.............maybe someday.....................

i'm on it....minimally.....i've reconnected with some people from my past and really like seeing and communicating with them. just don't put anything out there you don't want the world to see or know and it's fine.......
