it is said of drunken behavior "i didn't know what i was doing - i was drunk.

" as if alcohol makes people do things against their own character and temperament.. .

i've known just a few alcoholics in my lifetime.

although i agree that politics are similar to religion...

alcoholism and being drunk are not the same. you can get drunk without being an alcoholic... or be an alcoholic without getting drunk.

alcohol does not show who you really are... is the opposite. alcohol affects your ability to think correctly, to control your behavior, the speed of your actions, your memory. it disables your rational thought and all you have left is your primitive behavior.

any human being will go though the same stages if they consume large amounts of alcohol. the behavior of a drunk person is not the behavior of the real person... is the behavior of their main thought and action processor confused/slowed down by drugs.

politics behavior is the result of emontional reactions to accumulated implanted ideas...influenced by ignorance.

if we all want to live long and in peace....why can't we agree on the method? religion has to do a big deal.

Ant legal recourse?

hello everyone, if the elders start hounding someone to attend a judicial committee meeting is there any legal recourse that someone can take to make them back off?

i know that sometimes they will just at the threat of it.

thoughts?.

if they don't have any proof... deny deny deny.. they can't do anything without witnesses, proof or a confession.

if they do.. then treating legal action against every elder as a man and the wt will force them to call the headquarters... they usually will tell the elders to just let it go...

btw this not legal counsel.... only observations on past experiences

some believe protesters have the “right” to block main roads, traffic and other places simply because they have a right to protest something.. in la, two deputies were ambushed and shot in the head and as the ambulance tried to take the fallen deputies to the emergency room, protesters blocked the way chanting they wished the police would die!

in nyc blm protesters blocked the george washington bridge and other major highways and streets to protest for their cause.. do you think this is acceptable?

when a protestor commits a crime... he is no longer a protestor.. he is now a criminal.

when a law enforcement employee commits a crime.. he is now a criminal

killing police is not protesting is murder.

shooting/choking civilians is not policing is murder.

when the people are fed up with their rulers... they will rise up. perhaps are only small flares here and there... but nevertheless it shows unhappy people are popping up in many areas now.

can you imagine being 6 years old and thinking god himself is no longer your friend because you blew out a candle on a birthday cake or wished someone a happy birthday?.

as bad as all this is, the birthday thing is just one of many jw rules that isnt even supported by scripure.

if jehovah is gonna unfriend you because you celebrate the anniversary of someones birth, or even your own.... well then fuck you jehovah! you have mental problems..

a celebration is nothing more than being happy for something that happened. an anniversary is nothing but the position of earth in relation to the sun

all we are saying is this: the last time the earth was in this exact place in relation of the sun (or within 3.2 million miles which is not exactly exact) something memorable in my life happened and am happy to remeber it. oh that makes you sad? you are such a petty god.

if california or other far left groups in charge would push for making pedophiles quote normal unquote.

so it passed but has yet to be signed by newsom.

age of consent... changes with time, locality, religion, and culture.

yet we are biologically the same humans for thousands of years... and our bodies are prepared to reproduce and start to become aroused... for sure not at 18... however some are not mentally prepared to have babies even at 50.

interesting to see people all emotional for a law that has nothing to do in the area where they live.

ok guess what...in muslim countries there are areanged marriages with minors and husbands constantly rape the adult wives... and their laws protect them..

so lets riot and protest... wait some dont like that either.... lets attack them and force democracy for their own good..

religious morality... is a sign of how primitive we still are.

the pleasure from the sexual act is the lure life uses to reproduce... thats a fact.

as life span of humans grow we think we should also expand the stages... childhood... adolescense etc

adulthood is set by our life experiences and circumstances.. yet we think that one rule will apply to all.

sex is for adults only, sex is for married people only, sex is for people of different sex only, sex is only with another human being. sex is 2 people only. sex is for people of the same age. same is for people with 2 years 3 months difference.... breaking any of these rules was,is and might be a sin or a crime at some point in some place.
