a tragic accident?

maybe ... except that implies no one was to blame.. the more you find out, the more it seems that this was due to negligence and lack of attention to safety.

i’m reservations, pimo elder.

i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?

You CAN do many things... The goal is to make them think by themselves... and that they themselves say: "hey thats not right"

So get on the platform as much as you can and utter as many WACKO ideas the WT has and bring them to the front (always know your source to back them up in case an elder jumps)

- Kids stop eating ice cream

- The widow gave ALL her money, we should do the same give ALL the money -

- The GB never asks for money like other churches, no we are different we DONATE money from our hearts and not because they are asking.. they are reminding us, thats why they ASK, scratch that, remind us so often

- We should we willing to let our little children die if the GOD or the GB tells us.

The more extreme the better...

Also bring the WACKO things of the past up... and say WHEN WE USE TO DO THIS.. But now we know xxxxxx thanks to Christs brothers the GB that the old GB was wrong and the new one is right.. GOD is never wrong.

Bring what the other churces are doing but also the JWs are but call them evil and call yours Godly

Bring up all the problems the JWs are facing but be specific and they say it must be satan influencing the Worldy people to bring this out or some elders to cover up.. what else could it be.

Get into many Judicials and bring the most absurd questions... to make everybody think and then disfelloship everyone... and keep talking to them as usual.

Talk to as many DF Jws as possible. in a coffee shop and encourage them to study the story of the bibble on independent sources... they can do it... its ok they are DFd.

The key is to play within their rules and bring up all the dirt that everybody purposely ignores.

Have fun... you will be outed soon or later...

Have you been vaccinated? Have you had any side effects?

hi all.. i'm 42 years old.

i have had two jabs of the oxford-astrazeneca vaccine.. after my first jab i experienced flu-like symptoms - shivering, wanted to lie down in a dark room, etc.. i experienced no side effects after my second shot.. how about you?.

how many jabs have you had?.

i got two doses of moderna... flu symptoms for a week on the first one. and sick for 2 days the secomd one... but couldnt move my arm for 2 weeks..

then did some research.... and i would not have taken the vaccine if i had been more responsible

lately i notice hands and feet cold sometimes.. my eyesight has declined 10 percent. i dunno if is the age (over 50 now) or the panic or the sugar or the vaccine... and i have noticed a couple of pricks on chest a couple of times...

btw.. do you know if theres a way to reduce side effects like blood clots or other secodnary damage? anybody has done research?

i know there's a name for this technique but i need a name, nonetheless.. if i say to my audience: apostates are horrible, satanic, dirty, sinners, mentally diseased etc ... all hateful traits.

and then i say: person a is an apostate.

then my audience will associate all the traits previously associated with "apostate" with person a. but i can say: i never said person a was horrible, satanic, dirty, mentally diseased etc.

i keep hearing that the watchtower org is going to be around forever because of the many other religions that have been around a long time.

but i disagree because the wt is not like other religious cults.. the watchtower's breath of life is dependent on the last days that started in 1914. .

you can’t change 1914 without a death blow to the entire organization.. the watchtower's 2nd reason for staying alive, is it's continual urging that the life saving preaching work of warning people is the most important work ever.. but- it's very obvious to many, even the old ones that instead of speeding up the work------the work is slowing down to a drip.. comment by former believer; .

They ve changed the meaning of 1914 for over hundred years and still grew regardless....changing it again in the. next 100 wont make a big difference.

the difference is the accesibility of YouTube and google. that will make a difference. when i was 6 and had questions i would ask my indoctrinated mother and she would give me the answer... when my 3 year old has questions he says 'hey google...."

Raising a teenager outside of “the truth”

i was raised as a jw and left the group as many of the teachings don’t align with my core values.

now, forward almost 10 years, my wife and i are raising our kids through puberty and i have to admit, this challenge is not easy and seems to be even more difficult in that my own upbringing was very different.

i find it hard to compare how i was raised with what i now must do for my own kids.

JWs follow the religious philosphy imposed mainly by rutherford and franz.

children copy their parents philosphy... and in its absence their friends or the movies or music.
