  Homeopathy popular in Jehovah's Witnesses ?

  is homeopathy ( the treatment of a disease using, in small doses, drugs that produce symtoms like those of the disease so that one's natural immune system can fight off the disease ) popular among active jw's ?

  my son who was raised as a jw has a large ( adult male palm size ) fatty growth on his back.

  his jw mother is treating him with homeopathy, as is a so called doctor.

  I take it Irodology was what that woman in Ponca City Oklahoma was doing to my former friends when she shined the flashlight in their eyes. It was amusing watching this woman in action. First she would shine the flashlight in their eyes and make some recommendations for various ailments. Then the "patient" would complain about something else. This woman would then grab her flashlight again, shine it in their eyes and agree that they had other herbs they should buy for that problem too.

  I wanted to have her do it to me and then complain about my eyes hurting from some strange bright light, just to see what she would recommend for that. But I chickened out.

  

  The only thing I see wrong with this person's eye is the writing on it.

  as many of you know by now - i do not tolerate 'shunners'.

  i have done no evil, killed no one, never raped or pillaged any witnesses.

  i do not tolerate small-minded witnesses who called me 'brother' for most of 40 years, now acting as if i am no better than sh*t on the bottom of their shoes.

  Speaking of quackery, there is this woman in Ponca City Oklahoma who claims to read eyes. JWs in this area go to her all the time and have her shine a flashlight in their eyes, so this woman can tell them what herbs and vitamins to take.

  i was baptized a witness at age 21 in 1976. for 28 years i lived a very introverated life.

  no friends no family in the truth.

  never dated and never married.

  I would never think to laugh at that, because I can relate. It wasn't until I left the JWs, after my dad died nearly 7 years ago, before my life changed and I could talk to women.

  she's a widow with six months to live.

  before her husband, an architect at pacific gas and electric died he accumulated $18 million to be dispersed to help the poor.. i told her i didn't need the money - just tell me how to make 18 million working for the gas company.

  i'm not to worried about it, it's on my hotmail account and if she bugs me i'll just forward it to the prosecutor's office.

  I replied to one of those once. The bastard kept replying to my emails from different email accounts. Then I told him I was a cop (at the time I really was) and all of a sudden, no more replies. I wonder why...

  the witnesses always say they are free in christ, i beg to differ, i don't know how many stupid unscriptural laws they have but lets start a thread on how many dumb witness laws you know and have heard of that make no sense or completely unbelievable, it is like they have a second talmud.

  cant have walt disney movies or stuffed animals as this is magical.

  cant have beards.

  Can only date with a view to marriage. In other words if you ask her out, you might as well have just said "will you marry me"

  And if you ever break up with the girl, expect a visit from the elders to see if any wrongdoing was had and why you two broke up. So even if a young man (or woman, but the man must still ask out the woman) was looking to get married, he had better pick right the first time or he is viewed as a lush.
