  They changed my work hours, drastically!

  i used to start work at ten a.m., and get off at seven p.m. wow, now they tell me, monday morning, i start at six a.m!

  i'll be showering in the dark.

  i'll be going to bed about eight-thirty.

  Good Luck with the schedule change. At least your employment didn't switch your schedule like I had to do...

  start time 5am (3 days)

  end time 5pm

  6 weeks later...

  start time 5pm (3 days)

  end time 5am

  and then 8 weeks later...

  start time 5am (3 days)

  end time 5pm

  and then 4 weeks later...

  start time 4pm (5 days)

  end time 1am

  (I quit 4 weeks later! Dumb bastards!)

  Life After Bethel Part 2

  as i mention before i was going to move to califorina when i left bethel, to get way from debbie's parents.

  so i thought the best thing to do was to go to the service department and ask them were they "needed help" in the bay area of northern califorina.........this shows you how totally delusional i really was at the time.........i thought i could still "help" others, by moving to area that needed help.......yea right!........

  just what a conergation needed another "burned out" exbethelite.

  Leolaia, that is the clearest summary of Daniel 11 I've ever seen. A much better summary than Watchtower could ever hope to provide.

  If I remember right, Watchtower even had England being the King of the North when the Colonies (USA... King of South) began the Revolutionary War. Again if my memory is right, isn't that strange how a nation can be both the North and South in order to fit Watchtower's plans?

  So this stuff in Daniel 11 actually happened? Here I thought Daniel's brain got cooked when he was standing a little too close to that fire Nebuchadnezzar threw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in. Thanks for the lesson Leolaia.

  Leolaia, When I read Daniel 11, verse 15 says the North will lay siege to the South. Then later on in verse 43 it says he will rule over Egypt, the Libyans and the Ethiopians will be at his steps. Isn't verse 43 talking about the King of the North? Verses 44 and 45 speak of "him" (King of North?) becoming "disturbed" and chapter 12 starts off with Michael the great prince coming on the scene.

  Rutherford did say that the totalitarian combine will grab control of the United States and Britain, and that it was useless to resist. That's right, he actually said that the Allies should "wait on Jehovah" to fix the problem.

  That wacky Rutherford... I wonder why he picked the United States and Britain to be the South. Sure, Germany and Japan would have defeated the Allies had they "waited on Jehovah." It's a good thing Rutherford didn't have FDR's ear.

  My life after Bethel

  thank you for this place in cyber space, this is therapy for me.

  there is something about writing things down, that helps put things in perspective........ the day i left it was pouring rain........i really screwed up, i found out the night before, as i was packing things up, that i had way under estimated how much stuff i had.

  i had two large suit cases (that i could barely shut the lids on) and a large army duffel bag.
