What is your opinion about a woman renting a room from a man? I own my house, and a friend wants to rent a room from me. She is 7 years younger, and I consider like my cousin. I am not romantically interested in me, and the same is true for her. By the way she does have a boyfriend. Is this wrong? Many people have told me it is, and many have said it is not. I am bringing it up, because I am a curious person by nature.

Exactly what I was thinking. As I remember, his seed was distroyed by the Israelites. Mainly because of their gross practices like doing your dad.

I am glad you caught my humor. I asked an Elder once about Lot's daughters having sex with their old man. He told me Jehovah allowed it, because they were trying to preserve his lineage. I am sorry, but they got Lot drunk, and screwed their Dad. That is still gross no matter if that was their intent. You mean to tell me that there was no other man that they could have. It was deliberate, end of story.

Just a thought SJ. I disagree with you regarding Lot's daughters being kinky. God would have killed in Sodom too. No, wait a minute, they boinked their dad. GROSS! Never mind. Your right, not only kinky, but sick. I just hope they didn't molest their children too.

Who do we pray to?

jehovah's witnesses obviously make a big thing over god's name and say that we should call him jehovah.. but when jesus taught his disciples how to pray in matthew 6:9 why didn't he start the prayer "jehovah"?

instead he starts it "our father".

surely if jesus had wanted us to use god's name he would have taught us to use it in prayer?.

I enjoyed your web site. It is very tasteful. I agree with you, you pray to the Father. Jesus called him FATHER, not Jehovah. I told my mother, (former Jehovah's Witness) I would never dream of calling her Connie, just like Jesus would never call his Father, Jehovah. When Jesus died for our sins, we became God's children. Therefore, he is our Father too.

does anyone else here in college feel like they have to work twice as hard as everyone else in the cong.

Hi tigerlily, welcome to the board. First, stay in school. Second, most of us here are not in the society any more. Most of us have been alienated long ago. I was forced out, because I would not shave my beard. Others have been shunned for other reasons. Do whatever you can to finish school, and do whatever you want to make your life happy.
