i found this place, purely by accident, and have been very amazed, at all of these touching, personal revelations, that many are sharing, here.
i actually was doing a search, jus tryin to learn how michael jackson's appearance came to be so radically changed..(that's a whole nother topic, and i came away, feelin sorry for him, after all i read, but, another time ) and ran across this forum.
im 41, was "raised" in the truth, my mother and her whole side of our family are long time witnesses, my father converted when i was around 4 years old.
Hi, allow me to be the first to welcome you. I hope you hang around.

i was aware when i da'd myself that i would be shunned.
what i didn't expect was how my children would be treated by brothers and sisters.
no phone calls or anything.
This does not surprise me. When I have kids I will teach them that Jehovah's Witnesses will likely do this to them. As far as I am concerned, my children can shun them right back. Who needs them?

To SlayerLayer/Species8472,

i have been dfd since i turned 19, i aux, pioneered for a short time and then selfishly went after the fruits of the flesh.
smoking, sex, drinking, drugs, etc.... the thing i couldn't, or wouldn't, see at the time was that i was acting selfishly.
it didn't matter what others in the cong.
I left when I was 24. I left because the all of a sudden had a problem with my beard. I did nothing wrong, but they decided my having a bead was being rebellous. So after a year of fighting with them, I gave up. Any religion can help with your problems. This religion is a cult, you are not allowed to have any personal freedom and further more my father killed himself because the religion depressed him that much. He kept waiting for the new system that will never come.

I was wondering how it was going with you. I had not seen a topic posted by you in a while. SORRY it had to be that way, but it is. It is like that for everyone here, so I am not surprised. Remember we do care and we all hope you can look back on this experience and smile some day. When you see them going down the street, remember it could have been you.

wts recipe for conscientiously making and eating blood pudding: use dehydrated blood.
its just that simple.
according to wts policy, jws can use fractions of red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma.
Ok, I follow what you are saying now. Do you have a recipe that includes dehydrated blood? It is worth a try.
