  Mulan,
  I can tell you loved here dearly. I read her story when it was posted a couple weeks ago. I am sorry for you family's loss. As a thought, maybe you could put a link to a breast cancer awareness site at the bottom of your tribute. If you think this is a bad idea, I understand.
  Right now I am helping my girlfriend with the soon to be loss of a friend to kidney disease. Her friend has decided to have the dialisys(SP) machine removed, because she is near death anyway. Loosing people that are too young is such a horrible thing. Take care of yourself.

  seeing all these different people on this board, together with varying personalities, thoughts and opinions, makes me wonder about our reading and viewing material.. take the daily news.

  if you watch tv, which news programme do you spend most time viewing and why?

  the same question as to which daily newspaper you read, plus, does your newspaper have a political bias that attracts you?

  I agree with Reagan, FOX News is a more balanced news channel. I also listen to news talk radio and watch ABC news with Peter Jennings. Occasionally, I will watch CBS news with Dan Rather. On the internet I turn to Yahoo and BBC for articles to read.

  i'm including a partial quote of an article posted by tallyman on kents website.

  now most of you who know me are aware that i don't have a great deal of regard for the watchtower corporation.

  but this kind of extremism scares me.. "i am in need of references to watchtower publications that contain images of united states government buildings, especially the white house- depicted as being violently destroyed by the watchtower society.. i have much of the wt literature pre-1992, and a bit of the post-1992 stuff, but it is such a tremendous task to sift through all this literature to find these watchtower-generated images of destruction of u. s. government property and buildings, as well as the text or captions accompanying such.. please send me the name of the watchtower publication and page number and i will scan it and am in the process of making a webpage which will contain all the seditious material i can compile on the watchtower.

  I hope you can learn something here. If not, at least you have some listening ears here. Your story is amazing. I am glad I do not have JW relatives like you and your husband has. However, I do hope in time they will be more accepting of you and your's. Feel free to vent about anything that troubles you. I know it has helped me to let my frustrations be heard.

  i followed the link on the "support freedom" banner, and checked out "guidestar".

  a search for "watchtower", naturally came up with their "charitable" work, and it's really impressive!.

  the taliban leader, mullah mohammad omar said that they did not have the technology to train the pilots therefore osama bin laden could not have been involved.

  okay, we know they trained here and osama has money to give these a-holes.

  the taliban needs to be dealt with too.

  Cygnus, I agree with you in-so-far-as Osama bin Laden is not alone in this. The skyjackers went to a simulator school and then did this deed. However his network could have still pulled this off, because the two people suspected of flying the planes had connections to bin Laden. Also the two people suspected of flying the planes were cousins and they went to a Florida simulator school at the same time. This was said by ABC news last night.

  i was sat watching tv tonight, her ladyship was dozing after a hard day, george the cat was purring and number 3 son had fallen asleep.. number 2 son was talking on the phone to his girlfriend, number 1 was out selling finance to prospective home-buyers.. know what?

  these sons of mine know that i am always on their side, no matter what they do.

  i can't think of anything that they could do to stop me loving them.

  Englishman, you are the type of Dad I wish my father really was. Not to say that my dad did a bad job, but because of the JW brainwashing, I was once shunned for dating a "worldly" girl by him. It was not until after I broke up with her that my dad resumed talking to me. I hate the JWs for what they do.

  OVERFLOW KH MEETING TONITE!

  i just drove by the local kh on my way home, and the parking lot was overflowing, almost like at the memorial.

  there were probably 50% more autos than are normaly at the average ms/sm.. is this just a local "phenomenon"?

  anyone else here live near a kh?
