My Bethel Experience Part 10
by new boy inthere were guys at bethel, who had great jobs........like don brouex.....he was the receptionist at the 124 desk....checking in and "checking out" ......all the bethel tours and "hot" sisters......on there way through the "home tour"............that my friend, is not a real bethel job.. there were guys at bethel, that had great congergations with maybe only 2-4 bethelities in their halls.
one hall, midtown had over 80 bethelites there.............. 3 old ladies 4 kids and a dog.
odds of getting a home cook meal on sunday 0%.

Okay, that may sum up 1919, but I thought Watchtower said the Wild Beast kills off Babylon the Great and then wishes it hadn't. But according to this text, Watchtower says, "First, judgment is executed on harlotlike Babylon the Great. The victorious Christ next moves on quickly to Armageddon..."

2007 DC "Follow the Christ" Locations Available

i can't say which one your relatives or "friends" are going to but i can tell you what the sites are.
i notice they are not posted yet on the www.jw-media.org website.. many did not get their march 1, 2007, wts in us congregations until this week because the site of their convention had not been announced at the congregation level.. there are several english conventions being held at the newburgh, ny assembly hall and the queens, ny assembly hall as well as at the west palm beach, fl assembly hall.

Or could they be saying, "I'm going to the District Convention at ____________." and not go at all?

Geico Insurance?
by skeeter1 ini got a automobile insurance quote from geico (you know, the lizard advertisement).
it's about $400 less a year than my current insurance.
i thought my current insurance was a great deal.

We use GEICO, but we've never filed a claim with them. They aren't hard to get on the phone to answer a question, which is nice. Much easier than Shelter Insurance to get answers from, and much cheaper too. We're saving about $300 per year when we switched about 4 years ago. They also offer home insurance through Travelers, which saves us another $500 per year. But again, we've never filed a claim with either, so we can't comment on that.

Remember the song Make The Truth Your Own?

besides nicknaming the religion "the truth", this is just another example of how the wtbts brainwash jws to think that the truth and the watchtower are the same thing.
i think this might be why jws, before hearing anything negative about the watchtower, already decide that it is false or they defend it.

Wait a minute! I thought Watchtower taught the Wild Beast kills off Babylon the Great, not "the victorious Christ." Besides didn't Jesus already judge Babylon the Great in 1919?
What exactly is the difference between the Great Tribulation and Armageddon anyway?

DON'T BUY EPSON PRINTERS!
by Elsewhere ini have the epson stylus photo rx620 and it is probably the worst piece of crap printer i have ever owned!
the problem is with the print heads.
they get clogged but cannot be removed!

While you guys aren't buying Epson printers, remember to stay away from RCA products too. Together we can end the production of crummy products!

WTBTS money making for who?
by awol inthere is a lot of talk on here about the wtbts a money making organisation.. maybe, but who is this money going to?.
like a friend "in the truth" lol said, it's all put back into the work.
and who would want to be a missionary, they don't get any money out of the society etc etc.. so who reap the rewards here then?

Around Wichita the CO has a house to stay in that the Society owns. I'm certain that is true of all large areas. Once upon a time the COs lived in travel trailers, but now they have well furnished large houses. So unless they are going to a remote location, they have their own bed to sleep in. If you want to follow the money, just find out what properties they own. Real estate is expensive in London and New York, is it not?

I've had two Epson printers and both of them was junk. I got a Canon PIXMA iP1500 and it prints great. The ink costs less than the Epson ink too.
