could be just a whim, but highdoses feet are feeling itchy today.

There is only one place that has it all. Reno. Twenty minutes to the mountains, twenty minutes to the desert, fishing in most directions, hunting in most directions, gambling everywhere, bordello a half hour away, more booze than you thought possible, don't like the weather-just wait five minutes -it will change. The best part is that Reno is so close to Hell you can see Sparks.

that i find it very curious that those who put their faith in the bible do not question, are not concerned about, have no problem with, aren't afraid of... and readily believe... in the legitimacy of the "strange" visions seen by john, ezekiel, daniel, and others.

dragons, beasts, some with horns, some red-colored... faces like lions and bulls... frog-like, goat-like... some that devour... some that "speak"... both good things and awful things... (ummm... most of which fly).

The difference between believing what is written and what you say is that you are speaking to your master in real time and getting a reply. There is no way to question those from the bible who wrote down what they saw. Clearly there are over 5000 pages on this forum and while you have talked about different things throughout the last 8 years, to find all of those posts to read and consider what you have written is quite a chore. Would it not be a benefit for you to write a primer that shows what it is that is to be preached by you? Those that will not believe do not matter, those that believe can be gained.

DEEP DISCUSSION: Christ means annointed.........does this create a paradox?

if you actually look at some interlinear new testament, you'll see in the direct greek to english translation, annointed, then you will see annointed is put in as christ.

if every instance of christ was replaced with annointed, how would many scriptures read?

well for one jesus would be called jesus annointed.

A conclusion that I keep coming to is that no one knows at this point in time what is the actual truth. The scripture intones that those that are granted the spirt will have the knowledge of God. There will be many that say they have the knowledge but they will be false prophets. Whomever can really explain what the bible says will stand out amongst all the noise and be acknowledged as a true representitive of God. As it stands now no one can exlain the kingdom, the ransom, the creation, nor revelations. All that is presented is a universer of personal opinions. All these interpretations are to gather followers after themselves. The scripture points out that the truth leads to God not to any person. I think the universe was made on purpose and this planet was made on purpose. There is too much reasoned complexity to think otherwise. When the truth appears it will be somehow known by the clarity.

As I look at the history of the world my question becomes "What are the instructions?". The bible starts off with a problem not an answer. If we have free will then how can it be exercised to give honor to god if there is no instruction. God says that the earth is his footstool, ok, are we just swarming critters? Wht create such a complex enviornmennt with people that are complex and are to concquor the planet when there is nothing but myth and conjecture to guide civilization. The course of human events do not show progress in humanity, only progress in science. ejesus left no writen record to know what he really said. We are left to find our own way and have to second guess what we might think god wants. Is this an intellegent way to cause a superior existence.

If it is that only god can lead us to a proper existence and he is love, why not open his hand and and give us the chance to purposely align ourselfs with his will? This is what is missing. The kingdom can not be had unless the sacred secrets are revealed and they are not revealed. All that is left for a reasoning person to do is walk on.

I doubted their existence while a dub, but I saw 4 of them in daylight above my back yard. They were there for about a half hour not moving then they took off at fantastic speed. They were flying saucers with a bubble in the middle. Three others with me also saw them. No camera so no pictures but we waved at them

The answer to your question is in the New World Translation in the introduction pages before Genesis. An apppedix is also referenced in this section that is in the NWT and it goes into gteat detail as to why the text was changed.. I am taking the info from the 1984 revised edition.
