  I wouldn't call this Prosperity gospel, at least it's not what many televangislst preach. in typical Wt speak properity here is not a refernce to Money.

  sure it wasn't around in my day.. my elderly parents must have gone to it yesterday.

  has anyone had a chance to see if the gb has replaced or inserted the term "governing body" to any of the new translation verses?

  how about matthew 24:45?.

  I have to disagree, in the usage of the WT, elder, is an Ecclesiastical term, not a bibilcal term.

  I seee your point, strictly speaking the two terms could be interchangeable, (if you skip the history of presbyter) in the org structure they are not.

  I want to add something to this. While they did not add the term governing body to the text of the scripture, I think that adding the term elder, does have doctrinal impact.

  The thing that came to my mind was the recent "Walk by faith" video, that shows a "elders Meeting" in the first centruy.

  The did use the term governing body in the introduction to Acts. In lower case, I might add.

  AGM is not streamed live, but a download.

  there have been several posts where individuals are asking if it is possible to hack into and watch the agm as it is streamed to the conventions.

  i say it is not streamed live like many are assuming, but a recorded download played for the audience.. why?

  a live stream has many possible points of failure.
