How Much of an Impact is Being Made by Young JW' s Leaving the Cult ?

we have read threads where statistics show that 2 out of every 3 people raised as jehovah's witnesses eventually leave once they get in their 20's to 30's and out on their own.

my children and my nieces and nephews are between the ages of 21 to 35 .

out of those 8 people - 4 of them have completely stopped attending meetings .

I was baptised in 1996 and my younger son at 8 in 1997. My other 2 sons were never baptised and never set foot in the kingdom hall after high school. Feel pity for the young one who was baptised now not all interested. He wanted to dissasociate himself but I refused. I am still attending and I think the two week meeting was a relief for everybdy even for die hards.

I dont know about meeting day in other parts of the world. In the part of Africa where I am now most meetings are for Saturday and Sunday. Which means that your whole weekend if filled with spritual things as they say. You end up having no social life at all.

" page 6 para 19 reads:.

19 when we are being represented in public prayer, we need to display reverential "fear of god.

This is emotional abuse of the highest standard. The idea is to try and see how much the sheep can take. And they have realised that they take anything from them. I showed this one to my husband he did not respond in any way. He is properly programmed. Please help!!!
