Identity Theft
by Jerryh inthis forum offers the stories of folks with as many variations as there are folks and a “great crowd” of lurkers whose stories may never be offered.
i am an outsider with a broken heart for some insiders that i love more than they know.
after reading nearly every “apostate” book ever written, lurking, being worn out searching the wt cd, i have come to an idea that i present for your appraisal..

In a word, no.
there is only one tenet that a JW must believe - that the governing body IS the faithful and discreet slave, the representatives of God on earth.
As you so correctly pointed out, if they don't know who THEY ARE can one be sure they know who you are? As for older ones there may be some room for them to not keep up with the chariot and believe that all the anointed 144,000 are the FDS but that's all the leeway a JW might get. To believe that ALL Christians are Christs brothers, saved , anointed with Holy Spirit or however you wish to put it - well, that would simply get you disfellowshipped if you spoke out which a Christian must do as Christ commanded to preach the good news.
sorry if this is going to be hard on you, were you perhaps thinking of joining for those you love???

Hi there and remember CALM DOWN SIR!! YOU MUSTN'T GET WORKED UP OR YOU WONT GET PREGNANT!!!That said, I wish you all the luck in the world..give it your ALL because u will never. Ever find anything that gives u more joy than kids of your own.
This is what I HATE so so so much about the org. I remember reading it was Ray Franze's only real regret...having no kids. I am so glad u are in a position to have kids but DO try to keep the misses stress free..enjoy yourselves , have the odd drink too( I think getting too worked up and health freaky has the opposite effect).
Thank goodness you and darkknight757 realized in time before it really WAS too late. Had my twins at 40...don't worry!!!

Evolution is a Fact #7 - Human Egg Yolk Gene
by cofty inexploring the human genome is like roaming around an historic town.
some places are pristine and obviously still in everyday use.
others have been unused for a while and starting to show signs of decay and if you look carefully there are relics of buildings that were abandoned long ago.. in this post we are going to look at a gene that we still carry in every cell in our body but which fell into disuse 10s of millions of years ago.. humans are placental mammals.

Volunteer workers pushed to renounce to their social rights
by sp74bb insurprisingly in spain, a large quantity of bethel volunteers (nice to words to say workers) have received their letter telling they are not anymore required.
in this country, government obliged bethel to give social rights such as basic social security (doctors, etc..) to the volunteers as they understand that it is a business relationship.. all of them have been pushed to sign a letter stating they renounce to their work and then go outside bethel with not a single right (unemployment, etc...).
it is really unfortunately but silly from bethel office to arrange it this way.

hey're a disgrace of a printing company. They want all the benefits wider society provide but refuse to acknowledge any social responsibility themselves.
THIS ^^^^ sums up their whole attitude to everything - from donated blood fractions to human rights law when it benefits the org

JW Expressions We Hate
by Socrateswannabe ini was browsing through stuff on jw.org recently and ran across some expressions that really grate on my nerves: loyal love, loving-care, and loving-kindness, as in: "please exercise loving-kindness toward your servant.
" who talks like that?
they must be relics of the fred franz era.

I was ashamed
by Happeanna ini was once a person who believed in god destroying 7 billion people so a few people could live in paradise.. when the penny finally dropped and i realised what as a jehovah's witnesses i was really praying for , it made me feel sick.
what is attractive about a person that prays for this world to end .
i was ashamed to have been a witness deeply ashamed .
