New Light - Two Sticks in Ezekiel - July 2016 Watchtower
by Listener inezekiel 37:15-17 prophesies about two sticks being joined together to become 1. one stick represented the two tribe kingdom of judah and the other stick represented the 10 tribe of israel (ephraim).
the article explains how the coming together of these two sticks meant the reuniting of these tribes in 537 bce.the modern day fulfillment was previously taught to mean that the anointed had once again come together in unity in these last days.the july watchtower now explains that one stick, the stick of judah, represents the anointed and the other stick, the stick of ephraim, represents the other sheep.
they further explain that since 1919 god's people have gradually reunited to become one flock.they are now saying that the other sheep are represented by 10 tribes of israel.

The Listener his may just be one more step forward to eventually stating that the other sheep are members of the spiritual Israelites (and therefore in the New Covenant with Jesus as their mediator).
This wouldn't surprise me as this is huge for most Christians and comes as a massive shock when they find out, or to JWs when it really sinks in or someone shows them from the bible that their current teaching is utter rot. -

So why have they found dinosaurs with cancer...or animals fossilized in sediment very quickly...the victims of natural disasters, floods or volcanic eruptions..all this way before humans were on the scene...according to science AND the witnesses! -

by eyeuse2badub ini just got the news from our former congregation in hollister, ca regarding a tragic event following the 'memorial' wednesday night.
we shared the kh with 2 spanish congos.. a couple from the spanish congregation were leaving the kh so that the next spanish congo could have their 'memorial'.
they exited the parking lot in their car when hit by an oncoming car right in front of the kh.

author was molested by a jw elder, told her mom (and others) about it, was not believed, her behavior spiraled out of control (acting out), was placed in foster care by her mother that refused to believe an "upstanding member of the congregation" could do something so despicable.

This is horrific. I don't know why the state doesn't prosecute parents who abandon their kids...especially after they have been abused. She's such a good women she's most upset about the kids who were attacked after her. -

by NotBlind ini know this has been discussed before, but i think some of these wacky (but thought-provoking) comments deserve their own thread.. paragraph 6 says: modestly, anointed ones acknowledge that they do not necessarily have more holy spirit than those with an earthly hope.
they do not claim to have special knowledge or revelations; neither do they try to prove that they are in some way superior.
somebody needs to send this memo to the gb.

Label licker In our old hall, they have an anointed member who refuses to use their silver sword and uses his King James bible only. He says the org's bible is a joke. He believes you have to be born again/die in order to inherit the kingdom and still believes that Jesus died on the cross. When ever he goes out in service he makes sure he writes a letter letting the householder know all what's wrong with the religion's doctrines. Yeah, he's definitely anointed.
I have a lot of respect for people like that. The ones who can think for themselves and are prepared to take responsibility THEMSELVES for what their conscience tells them is right or wrong. Whether a higher power has called them or whether its a constant, focused use of that part of the brain that is activated like when " the god helmet " is used (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_helmet) their humanity shines through...and that, for me, makes them special enough.😀

Why does Tony Morris claim that his time in the Vietnam War gives him experience that will be useful in destroying 7 billion people when he reigns from heaven? Is this the sign of a modest individual?
WTF?????? Did he say that for real??? Anyway I thought the anointed had been faithfully all their lives?? How could Toni be anointed as a Vietnam killer? We all know nepotism got him in initially...then money ( rich adopted family?) Not to mention his pushy, bully-boy personality. Humble? Meek? Gentle? Did he enjoy the Viet kids being napalmed??
