My New Fascination - Evolution!

lately i've been fascinated with evolution.
as a jw i never even looked at the subject, dismissing it as "just a theory".

I mean, the bones that have been found of are not ape (we know what ape bones look like) and not modern human either.
Isn't it amazing to study the bones of our "cousins" I guess you'd call them - non Sapien hominids ( i.e. not human beings but humans of another species). You don't have to be an expert to see, wow it's so obvious, that these bones sure neither ape nor Homo Sapien, they are so radically different to either. Very quickly you learn to look for the common differences - the size of the brain case, the pelvis...you can quickly tell if they walked upright, the strange shape ape skulls have whereby they anchor the large cheek muscles required for chewing rough leaves and vegetation. But most of all, the teeth. It must be fascinating being a paleo-dentist ( I've just made up that name! Don't know their scientific designation). The teeth can tell you so much it's incredible. The small space behind the back molars that gets bigger the further back you go in time, until at some point it indicates another species.
When you put a chimp, Homo Sapien, Homo Neanderthalensis, Homo habilis, Homo Erectus, Australopithecus Africanus, Homo Heidelbergensis...all together, it is blatantly obvious we share common desce##- # nt. It is also obvious they are not our species but neither are they apes.
And, of course, they are all extinct - except us - why? Brains or braun? Time or unforeseen occurence.?.or bloody murder?

it was quite the scandal.

it may be feasible to some to accept the bible's assertion that the first humans were tempted to pursue independence from god, especially since they were created in his image and he is independent from any authority.

Yes it seems the all powerful creator is predisposed to murderering the innocent offspring of 'immoral' couplings.
Are we to take it that they can not only "materialize" in jwStartrek parlance but, as you say, have a full set of GENES in order to reproduce. Not just human genes but GIANT ANGEL GENES!!I wonder if God knew he'd created those?!
Some definately tried female bodies....c'Mon, who among you haven't wondered what it would be like being and having sex *AS* the opposite sex...I know I have!!

Who are the bullies, bigots and criminals really, Watchtower?
Bullies: DF kids, teens, the mentally ill and threatening them with the loss of family, friends and whole support network unless they DO AS WE SAY? Blame victims of child sex abuse and rape? Blame victims of domestic violence....whatever their sex and age? Use our money and power to order courts to do our bidding against our own poor members? Use gossip as a weapon? Use shame, fear, obligation and guilt as a weapon to get what WE want? Weaponize families?
Bigots: you mean homophobes, sexists (who believe women are lower creatures because smaller brains) and those who believe a different religion to mine deserves death? Who uses derogatory terms like "worldly" for those who do not belong to their publishjng corporation?
Criminals: is perjury a crime? Paedophillia? Insurance fraud? Concealing court requested documents on sex offenders? Advocating violence upon children? Are Perpetrators and defenders of domestic violence, criminal?

As an Ex JW now, how would you react if you met your Bible study conductor?
by EverApostate ini was a jw for 11 years , came to know ttatt and wrote my disassociation letter 5 years ago.
since then i had been an atheist and trying all i can to spread awareness for “still in” members.
my wife and mom are still jws and i do get along with them perfectly.

Ever Apostate @ Sadly my study conductor passed away, younger than average, from lung cancer over 12 years ago, despite never having smoked. Despite this I often have dreams of talking to her and very respectfully explaining my feelings around WTBTS. I say this because she was an exceptionally good person with love for all - the best type of Christian - and it hurts me that, as a convert, she wasted most of her adult life slaving for the WTBTS. She also raised her kids in the org, although refused to shun her disfellowshipped child I believe the stress caused by the shunning rules, when they tightened up, contributed to her developing a cancer she never should have had. Her husband was baptised, something I believe he did to ensure family unity, and fairly quickly stopped attending following her death. He is very angry about her death....I want so much to talk to him but I fear telling him what I know about Rutherford, Russell, Franz et al may make his rage against the org/life/God worse and hence make him feel more retched.
If your study conductors are healthy and cannot come between you and your mother or wife then a calm, polite explanation is well in order. One has to think, primarily, of any further cult victims they may create/convert. Sadly, the nicer the jw as a person the more *likely* they are to convert more people. Especially the vulnerable, as I was, a parent-less young child.

This is a long term medal Russia has always ( since revolutionary times at least) had to reward good Russian women who produce lots of soldiers and workers for " mother Russia".
Its got zero to do with either good parenting skills or religious affiliation.
**Back in the day a medal the shape of a *cross* awarded by a *worldly government known for persecuting jehovahs people* and given to a jw for producing lots of children in this evil system would have given Fred Franz and co A CORONARY!!!**

talk coordinators will coordinate with other talk coordinators in order to find speakers to give the public talk on sunday.
typically, they come from the general area: the circuit or a nearby circuit.

Joe123cd This brother went out and tried to let the word out about the offer this surgon made, to come out here. Wt got wind of it, and sent out a letter nation wide telling the people organising the event to desist in doing so. So that was the end of that. I would of loved to of known what the surgon thought about it.
Geoffrey Jackson claimed it would be "presumptuous to think they (the GB)were the *only* channel of communication God was using". Meaning, of course, that *other JWs* MAY have holy spirit guiding them when they go about representing the Org doing Witnessy things etc
Yet they put the kibosh on excellent ideas that would benefit dubs BUT don't come from them ;just like jealous children who don't want to play a game if it's not their idea. Unbelievable but oh-so predictable.
