my father died when i was 4 and that left a huge emotional scar on my tender mind.
with my mother, i went to live with family members and was sexually abused between 4 and 10. he was an ms but when elders later found out, all that happened was he got his privileges removed.

I think abuse for young boys can have an added dimension of awfulness in that biologically the body cannot help usually but respond even when being raped. I think it even happens to women but maybe not so obviously, with the resulting wrong belief by the victim that they are somehow in collusion with the perpetrators, though nothing could be further from the truth. I'm sure the perp often plays on that biological fact entraping the child even further. I just want you to know even if you had 20 orgasms a day you were a child, a victim and abused with you trust betrayed horribly.
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your father. I see that you became a victim because you had a massive hole in your heart where your father had been and this man's "love" filled that hole...or so it felt. Just like watchtower took advantage of your grief so did the molester. It's horrible beyond words.
I too woke up due to Open University philosophy courses!! Combined with the ARC and the wonderful Chris Hitchins! Boy do we need him now! He is deeply missed.
I can see you have two wonderful women in your life whom you don't want to disappoint. Is fading for medical reasons completely out of the question? Have you tried the Socratic method with your wife? Has your mother waited for your father's resurrection? If so I fear it may be kinder to leave her as she is. Only you know what's best in your situation. Being a PiMO who can pass on info may help to divert you somewhat. Volunteer for technical help to avoid listening to talks at assemblies? You could undergo therapy and say you need a break whilst you undergo therapy. Let me know what you think about that.

A mother is in labour ALONE with her 6 year old boy and she tells him to fill the basin with hot water in the bathroom...so the boy can help his mother have a wash??? (Then he's "monitoring the labour" ?!!)
Yes having a wash is the first thing ya do in labour!!!

Iwantoutnow I was left on my own. My PO took most of the crap, since he also approved it, and he had to read a Letter at a Meeting stating how Sorry we were for doing it.
The PO has to go on bended knee in front of the cong for agreeing to a family group - something for families shock horror - that was actually successful.
Disgusting. Yet no high up says sorry for allowing child abuse to flourish, or lying to members about donations.
It's all arse-about-face!!!

I too spoke up on many occasions about kids being beaten ( even babies) in the Kingdom Hall. I found it shocking. Witnesses would almost be in competition to beat their kids the most, as if they won brownie points for doing so.
its the lazy way to teach, you are right Vidiot leading by example cannot be beaten and it truly comes out when you grow into an adult, which is when it really counts.

Finklestein please tell us about these corrupt JWs. In my experience very few JWs are generous. There is always one or two who take up the slack in every congregation. There are also quite a few ready to take advantage of guileless ones, too. Greedy JWs who own business yet pay their JW workers minimum wage. They also try to avoid paying any maternity leave or sickness, too.
It seems no JWs are willing to question these āordersā from on high to liquidate donations. No one willing to stand and be counted and keeps all the āreceiptsā so when it goes public we can all see the proof.
Is there any p.i.m.o.s willing to tell their story who as involved in this liquidation of donated goods?
Maybe Paul Grundy could do a story on it on JWfacts since Iām sure p.i.m.o.s would trust him.
