  Science and Watchtower's astounding ignorance

  well these goof balls at jwbroadcast apparently think the study of pure science means not having any "practical application".

  oi vey.

  sanderson may speak russian but he is so ill educated he appears to think that researching a subject and formulating a theory about it means that's the end of it - in other words he's saying it has no practical use.

Sanderson May speak Russian but he is so ill educated he appears to think that researching a subject and formulating a theory about it means that's the end of it - in other words he's saying it has no practical use. Well how about this you fat head....In my lifetime, the cure rate for childhood cancer has gone from 20% to over 80%. Yup. Definitely not for the good of others.😒

  Things could have gone the complete opposite way. Supposing Judge Rutherford lost his case and didn't become President of the WTB&TS and the 5 directors that Russell wanted to take over, did so. Today, we could very well find ourselves being pulled into the backroom and asked to read a few articles on the reasons why Christian men should grow a beard! Again this highlights how ridiculous the whole beard rule is. A man made rule within a high control religion!

  Not to mention the 5 ladies Russell appointed to be Watchtower trustees on the board of directors. Even from a religious point of view it is a business...nothing about women being business women in the bible. We would probably have female M.S, because pheobe was one in the bible (sorry my favourite soap box subject!!)

  • was under the impression that beards were allowed over there, due to the comments of some online and some JWs. I also saw a video from on YouTube of a witnessing cart handler with a beard. Maybe um thinking of another European country that allows beards?

    
    

  My best friends dad has always had a beard. And believe me, it is NOT neat 😂 He’s used for accounting and building and driving and advice and...just about everything except being an elder because he is modest and kind and does not want to go judging people. He also knocks spots off all other male JWs for brains.

  JW.org greater than the Bible now

  there was a time when brooklyn bethel was emblazoned with the words; "read god's word the bible daily" but it seems to me now that even the bible has taken second place to jw.org.

  i remember having lots of studies using the 'truth' book.

  we asked the students in those days to prepare well and look up the scriptures in their own copy of the bible.

  Does anyone remember?

  so back when the borganization took over the congregations and their money when "forgiving" the loans for the mortgages, i seem to remember there was a congregation that stood up to them.

  it didn't work, of course, but they caused quite a stir.

  does anyone remember what congregation it was or any details where i could search and find more about it on here?

  Where you born after the year 2014 would be more reasonable. Quite a few kids born in that year would be able to make out a few words in that nutty sentence, and certainly know the numbers!

  'Experiences(tm)'! Made up or totally true??

  at one assembly(tm), i was asked to relate an 'experience(tm)' which i did.

  however, during rehearsals, the geezer in charge elder or co or some such title, told me that i shouldn't tell it the way it was.

  i did a 're-enactment(tm)' with another 'brother(tm)'.

  How many have heard about the kid being saved from a snake ( lion, car) because he always obeys dad?

  🤣😂Not sure where you live, but not around these parts we don’t hear ‘em like that!!

  Ive had to do this on 3 different occasions.

  If this happens so often to so many people, Most Elders and all C.O.s must know about these lies.

  So why the heck do so many Elders and C.Os, then, remain in the Org?

  They MUST know it’s all B.S. if lying at assemblies is this routine.

  It’s this sort of thing that convinces me the higher ups absolutely know it’s BS. Either that or they have to believe Jehovah has deserted them.

  That picture of the elderly widow also made me furious.

  They totally twisted Jesus’ story of the “Widows mite”. The point that Jesus was making was to shame the rich priests who blew their own trumpet...not to encourage the poor to donate more!!

  Jesus kept a poor box. Whatever you believe, that much is almost certainly true. Where is Watchtower’s poor box that they may contribute to the poor??????
