Just changed out the summer quilts.
by GrreatTeacher ini just washed all my summer quilts and put them away for the season.
i brought out the thicker and heavier winter quilts and put them on the beds.. i love patchwork quilts and have a couple of heirloom ones actually made out of the scraps of old family clothes.
my mom can point to a fabric and say," oh, that was a dress of mine when i was little," or, "that was my mother's apron.".

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Medical Commission now recognizes that the sex hormone levels are a much more relevant factor in determining sex/gender for sport's competitions, than the sex chromosomes. In regards to that note the following from the article.
Fully agree. However this makes the case against even stronger.
The two major points in time humans receive those hormones are in the womb at around 9 weeks and then another "wash"☺️during puberty.
Hence the salient point is whether you experienced a male puberty and this is what makes you male. All the faffing about in the world afterward is not going to mitigate the massive physical advantage such males have.
This includes those intersex "girls" whose genitals are unclear at birth, so are assigned female in developing countries, yet have (usually undescended) testes.

by pistolpete insome news outlets are saying that biden is "prepping the battle field for an attack on american soil.
they have seen several hundred migrants armed, entering the united states and since there are thousands, the border patrol doesn't have the resources to confront them and stop them.
biden has blocked any news media from taking pictures or reporting this to the other states.. this, along with dividing the country with vaccine mandates, lockdowns, tearing down the economy, indoctrinating the young people that the united states is evil, a military general willing to tell the enemy before hand what the usa is about to do, and now considered a hero, trying to de-fund the police in all states.. what do you all think?.

he has passed away i believe.
he was about 24 and used to hang around the young boys.

1995 generation change
by Gorb innow, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.
it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.
with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

Slim So much so that one time it was “vindication” described as the most important part of our message, and even that the purpose of Jesus coming to the earth was to vindicate Jehovah’s name first and to save mankind second. I don’t think they’ve returned to going that far in the recent literature.
This made me hugely uncomfortable. In my gut it felt wrong.

the title does ask a great question.
those who would deny that the bible is divine in origin usually point to failed prophecy, events that do not mesh with historic evidence, scientific evidence, or even plagiarism from other religions.

Paddy I accept what you're saying. Interesting placed side by side.
The thing is, all of our altruistic behaviours can be explained by evolution (pro social animal etc) and even our belief in God can (we tend to see agency in everything, as a protective measure)
