Where do we go from here, the Lloyd-gate?

the problem is where do we go from here?

lloyd is not going to go away , he has too much to loose(money) neither will his followers go as we have seen the last few days there was hardly a drop to his membership .so what's next?

we will be branded in the same colours and because of him we won't be taken seriously anymore.

No one is essential for creating more ex Jehovah's witnesses. Watchtower does a good enough job of that all on its own.

I think people are usually well on their way to waking up when they start watching you tube videos. Frankly most of Lloyds most ardent followers are youngsters who never trully believed it fully anyway, since they grew up with the internet.

Lloyd used to make some well thought out, excellent videos. But recently it's very obviously been about money and quantity rather than quality....such as those silly sushi videos. Quick 5 minute dopamine hits of "why I'm right"for exjws to make 'em feel better. Or people phoning in asking inane questions with equally inane and obvious answers.

The only change for me is I'm planning to make another EXJW Reddit sub but without it being controlled by his devotees - something I'd planned to do for a while. Just a genuinely open sub with minimal moderation and no one getting cancelled....even Lloyd!

I was getting sick of their constant interference. I also wondered why suddenly all the old mods disappeared and we got a bunch of new ones who'd only be subbed for a year or two. If anyone's interested let me know.

You're wrong there. I do care about those Thai girls. Why Thailand? Do these men think these dirt poor women have anything but revulsion in their soul for these men? They don't really have a choice. so many organizations are worried about it and what it's doing to the women there. I expect you pay them a fraction of what you pay in the west. There are more reputable ways - you can go to people in Europe who are not being exploited, are safe, of reasonable age and keep their own money. Not so in Thailand. Yes I wish everyone would quietly drop him. Unsubscribe and just watch videos as and when. I think most of the negatives are driven by wanting to respond to the kids blindly defending him, who don't see the rank hypocrisy and blab on about poly Amory and such.

Some do, yes. Rightly so. He's besmirched people's good name and had them blacklisted everywhere. Just one example look at what he did to Marc Latham. That was completely rotten. He also bad mouthed this forum only a couple months ago on YouTube.

Joey jojo I'll link some academic studies into the sex tourism 'industry' in Thailand and it's horrors.

Funny thing is, one of the worst is that prostitutes are usually SHUNNED by their families.

50 - 70% of prostitutes in Thailand are HiV+ve (leading cause of death in under 50s). When they find out, the brothel owners boot them out and they go back to their villages. Family's make a hut for them away from the village and shun them. If they're lucky when they get sick they bring them food, but mostly they die alone in isolation. What a terrible life.

Lloyd has no self awareness if he critiques sexual abuse and rape but feels no shame at buying into this cruel trade (which btw the women have no control over).

So he loves his family...his kids, his wife....but on New year's Eve he's in Thailand with sex workers instead of ringing in the New Year with his family.

I'll tell you what depression on New year's looks like...my 38 year old sister in law alone & bawling her eyes out because she's just watched her husband suffer and die horrifically of a nasty cancer leaving her alone to raise their 3 year old daughter. She would give her soul to have her family together on New year's Eve.

I know mental health problems are not just about grief and loss but damn, I've known plenty of depressed people and they can barely go to 'parties' let alone in Thailand. That's not depression it's self pity (especially having people PAY for your holiday and arrange it for you. Kim thought he was going scuba diving, btw, but he calls her out for 'arranging the holiday for him'😳).

The fact he regularly goes to Thailand is the most egregious part. A place well known for its sex trafficking, especially if minors (he says girls in his response video and quickly corrects himself).

He takes in money on the backs of child abuse cases,/victims with help from hard working and talented people like lawyer Kim Silvio and hard working and talented writer Marc o Donnell. No one else receives money from the livestreams and patreons (his recent 'apology' one raked in $1000 so far) yet he spends it on girls in Thailand and heaven knows what they've been through. He then insinuates it's his wife's fault as 'we're not sexually compatible" (we all know what the underlying narrative is there)

I've got an incredible radar for guys. It's because of my history. I won't go into it but I'm that poster child your parents warned you about - and more.*

I knew Lloyd was sexually dodgy and misogynistic. The way he gaslit the CSA victim in the ARC about her book and gaslit Jane who did such great work for CSA victims over on JW victims.org and over the top bashing of Kimmy of Mike and kim when she was unhappy with his self-publishing Ray Franz beloved book without permission. I noticed also his tendency to not have any strong older women's voices on his videos yet often bring in very young very attractive young girls with almost nothing to say, yet only for one video. It was very much a boys club. Any minor critique was met with immediate censorship, blocking and a public berating, mind you.although I put his 'touchiness' down to being an exjw who couldn't accept criticism easily.

Just not surprised at all.

New WT on "Hate" is actually a little bit based

the new public wt on hate, especially racial hate just came out and seeing as how left-leaning the org is in regards to so many non-sexual things (like mandates and lockdowns, guns, war, patriotism, freedom of thought and speech, climate change, etc.

) i was fully expecting the magazine to lean into the media lies of black victimhood, etc.

however was pleasantly surprised to see a few valid thoughts, such as this opening image of everything seemingly being blamed on the white man.. .

Ha!! Actually I'm totally NOT surprised, since as old white men they naturally are going to feel aggravated that everything gets blamed on the "Whyte man" (as people write on social media to avoid being picked up by algorithms). Not saying I disagree, here, just that they only have empathy for people like themselves*....so...why be surprised?

*They Also own lots of property so, again, particularly not going to like vandalism, even aside from their supposed non violent stance.

Watchtower will probably claim the tents where for worship gatherings! For example tents for Jewish temples in the deserts and now Christian meeting places. Or for travelling merchants. Anything but the army, of course, the most obvious market!

I too used to ponder Cornelius being baptised, when I was a JW.

No that's a myth. His little brag that his family is wealthy was just that - a very odd brag. His family background is very modest. No relation to the fag company whatsoever.

would imagine that the Watchtower has its own internal means of discovering the identity of Kevin McFee if they so wished. He uses his voice and I think his child's voice as well.

Just to say he's not a JW anymore and I don't think he has been for some time. I believe he simply has an elderly relative he doesn't wish to "complicate" things for. That person cannot shun him - but he knows the witnesses would simply be unpleasant to them and soft shun that person merely for being related.

Aren't they such a lovely bunch?!!
