If he uploaded a video where he says he will interview his wife, then begins talking to a sock with a wig stapled to it, I'd almost be tempted to subscribe to his channel again.

In the meantime, if he's using a green screen, I suggest he have some fun with it. Why not deliver his next video message from the shores of Galilee? It'd be a pretty funny idea, as long as he doesn't mention scuba diving.

580 patrons is still way too many. Are nearly six hundred former Witnesses really that hungry for justification that they support gross behavior and misuse of funds?

I think Kim Silvio was on to something when she talked about some ex witnesses being soothed by his long form Watchtower content reviews,(or having a dopamine hit from it as I always think.)
When you've been repeatedly exposed to something from childhood and had everyone you love reinforce that thing as good, you're bound to get a chemical high from it.

By far his most worthwhile or 'meaty' content that busy people and non JWs who are subbed to him probably view, were the Watchtower in Focus (lately JW Watch) episodes.

These were on topical, important and heavyweight subjects and really well made, mostly due to Kim Silvio's legal perspective & Marc O'Donnells incredibly well informed input. They also tended to have experts or activists relevent to the subject at hand such as Irwin Zalkin and the Dutch group Reclaimed voices etc.

Gramps You are right slimboyfat, Sydlik does look pretty trim in that video. When I look at the fat bellies of the GB today, it is enough to make you sick to your stomach. I guess Scotch will cause a "flubber-gut" condition.

This generation of GB will not live as long as their seniors did. My mother always told me her generation will be the first to die younger than their parents despite improvement in medical science.

I think the sparsity of the war years and walking rather than driving everywhere, plus homegrown food gave the WW2 and WW1 generation a giant headstart.

I think they're planning on renting out the studio space, video editing, film & recording equipment, expertise etc for watchtower profit. There'll also make their own content of course.

It's obviously a New business model.

Back to the Meetings------Back to Covid.

a lot of pimos are reporting that returning to the meetings is backfiring in that covid is spreading among the members returning.. post;.

so last saturday was my first meeting back in person and well it completely backfired.

last night i got a text from my group overseer saying that someone in the hall tested positive for covid and that we need to get tested(great 🎉).. honestly i kinda expected this.

Come on guys, I agree for most of us Omicron is a cold and nothing to worry about.

However if I'd not had Covid previously and was elderly or on Cancer treatment, etc, there's no way in the world I would be going to meetings and it's wrong of elders to automatically expect attendance.

the articles on the jw-cd which only go back to 1950 where we fought back the attacks.

i do not understand why they did not continue to blast our bible since it is such a fraud....down south in usa churches teach members how to refute dubs at their door.....but why did they stop blasting the nwt?

it is sooooooo easy to show a dub there is a bunch of made up crap in it.....i may have to help my local chruches.....if you need more info about the horrible fraud parts, feel free to pm me.........................oompa......even elders dont know

Certainly my fellow church members often think that l am being somewhat unChristian when l speak of a cult.

I think this is a problem jhine when speaking to Christians about jWs. They think you're being unkind and unchristian and that they need "protecting".

What people don't understand is that the people being treated most unkindly and most unchristian is the Jehovah's witnesses themselves, by their own Church. That it's watchtower itself showing lack of Christian love toward its own members. You are merely observing that.
