  Would a JW accused to be a murderer (in a judicial committee) be reported to the police?

  i am wondering if a jw accused to be a murderer (or any other serious crime except csa) in a judicial committee would be reported to the police.. if i sexually abused or molested a child, i would not be reported to the police.. what about if i killed a person: would i be instead?.

  it is not a matter of being right or wrong but i am only curious to know if there is at least a sort of coherence regarding the internal policies for serious crimes....

  Ok I know of a JW whose neighbour was beating his 80 plus year old mother up...HIS MOTHER. JW refused to report him to the police so she approached his ex wife and asked her to do it. This ex wife refused and said it serves the old lady right because she spoilt him.

  Result: he continued. They are reluctant to go to the police and many would say it's against their faith. The real reason is that they are terrified it will somehow reflect badly on watchtower.

  (I was a child at the time and was informed about it later)

  New JW.Watch Website - Plans, Ideas & Submissions

  i want to create a new site to help people leaving the wts.. the idea is that it will be curated content of articles and videos on specific subjects such as how to fade, how to handle family, personal experiences of leaving, mistakes to avoid, plus practical life matters impacted by the wts such as how to create or rebuild a career, planning for retirement, getting counselling, making friends etc.... the idea is that it should be lots of voices to share the love and promote lots of people's channels so it becomes a more effective resource (hopefully there will always be something informative and appealing to the people visiting).. if you have a youtube channel that you would like featured, or maybe have some specific video or series that would suit, i'd be happy to include them.. likewise, if you have a subject you'd like to write about and can share some practical knowledge and guidance on, or have a life-story you'd like to share because your experience could benefit others, please let me know.. i bought a domain and setup some placeholder content:.

  Simon do you know about Watchtower History site?

  I think they would be good to include because they are not "apostates" but rather two academics whose hobby is watchtower history and could be seen by JWs as a neutral source? Just a thought as a link??

  Just want to say if anyone wants me to go over anything they submit to check for grammar & spelling I'm 100% here for that.

  Not because I have a particular skill in that regard - simply because four eyes are better than two (or in my case six eyes are better than two....or it could be four? Oh you get my drift). In my experience everyone; but everyone, makes at least some errors when they write anything lengthy.

  Simon At some point, there's overreach, and that then is easy to pick up on. It's a technique Lloyd uses over and over, so don't give him the opportunity.

  Yes. I think people start looking slightly crazed. What if Lloyd tries to claim he's being stalked? Or his lawyer is being bothered? I also think he's unblocked a few people to give him more fuel for the case.

  I also think the person who left a message to Kim and Mike about not publishing Lloyd & Dijana's address because of the kids safety, maybe they are being a bit paranoid but I certainly don't think you have to be a Lloyd-lover to leave a comment like that. I think it's entirely reasonable.

  This has been one of the problems in the past when people complained about Lloyd. Some people (understandably)were perceived as being over the top and so it was easy for him to label them as 'crazy' or 'obsessed' etc. I really don't want that to happen again. I don't want him to divert from the real issues. I don't mean memes & jokes & stuff, he's got to expect that. I mean anything that could potentially be construed as stalking behaviour, that kind of thing. Or interference with a lawsuit whether we think it's absurd or not he has a right to engage a lawyer and take a case to court. There are laws around that of thing....or at least laws he could use against us*.
  

  * Please don't don't get me wrong I think Lloyd is using the lawyers/court case as a bullying tactic.

  I also think the initial lawyers Letters should be seen as extortion, or if they're not I don't understand why. If it were me I'd take it to my lawyer and ask if it could be seen as such.

  Yes they did. I can actually picture when but I can't find the video. It hit me like a ton of bricks. He was her baby brother? I lost my baby brother too...so😥

  They were driving in the car and started talking about it. It may have been either a video about Dijana in her own words or when they were off to Warwick. But they've definitely talked about it.

  I get the feeling it's one of the main reasons her parents will never shun Dijana....she's a good daughter and she's all they have.

  I can actually picture where the conversation took place. I thought it was suicide....or suspected suicide? I may be wrong. It was a couple of years back .

  My first (short,young) marriage was to a real narc and I absolutely knew, when I found out about everything knowing as I did about Dijana's brother, exactly how he controlled her.

  I mean this alone.....people if you listen to one thing, listen to this....

  As I said. Imagine actually thinking that this joke of lawsuit stands a chance. It's too much even for that clown of Lloyd. For sure he's is just doing it so that he can later claim he did all he could.

  I think it's even slimier than that. On the last occasion that he threatened legal action, he raised money with no result.

  So he's probably getting one or more of his wealthier patrons to give him money on the basis that he is going to prosecute these libelous people or "HIS WORK" will go up in a puff of smoke and evil Watchtower will forever Triumph!!!

  LooGoode I also had been looking up Croation law and I think you're right it has to be a crime in the country the defendant resides in. Which is highly unlikely since few countries hold insult to be a crime. But I thought their insult law which is prosecuted under the criminal code, unless I understood it completely incorrectly, has to be against a someone who works in a public capacity - such as a government official etc?? That's what I didn't understand.🤷‍♀️

  The civil suit for regular defamation, libel etc, anyone in the states is covered by first amendments and fairly new 'libel tourism' laws.

  Britain and Australia's protections are less robust maybe??
