Will Ukraine win?

i was under the impression that it was going to be a short war, that russia’s military would indeed subdue ukraine’s forces quickly but that is not happening.

seems that russia’s military power is much less than it’s reputed to be.

no guess how it will all end..

Russia has a much bigger problem with Ultranationlism and Xenophobic hate groups. I have Russian friends. It is a huge problem. They can't even play football in half of Europe because of it. You can't be gay, or a person of colour in certain parts of the country. I asked them how a country that lost 20 million to actual Nazis in WW2 can have the largest number of Neo Nazi skinheads on earth.

I know....it confuses the hell out of me, too, so many Ukrainians died. Mind you most of the camp guards were Ukrainian (and Lithuanian) plus the Einsatsgruppen were made up of them.

But...apparently they've been dismantling monuments to the Soviets defeating the Nazis. One huge tank (probably the famous T-34) was dismantled and many other monuments prior to the war. I have to say I think that's despicable when you think of the blood the Soviets spilled in defeating the Nazis, it's not right.

Unless....does anyone think Russia is holding back because so many Russians have Ukrainian connections?? It seems like every other Russian was born there, or partner was born there, or grandmother was Ukrainian etc etc ?!

i was brought up as a born-in(tm) here in the uk.

it wasn't until i was 50 that the scales fell from my eyes, i woke up, got da'd from the cult and my wife was advised to leave me by the elders whom i had served with on the boe.

dont know how much time has past since 50 for you, but it does seem like you are carrying a lot of anger. Perhaps that is when you are making a point, or and need to get your feelings out. I feel like i am moving past it already. Do you feel like your feelings have improved at all since waking?

I've noticed a change in Punky since his wife divorced and remarried. I think Punky has lost far more than many of us (not all). Losing your religion, your wealth, a career or friends is one thing .....losing your family is a whole other.

I only wish those bastard elders had kept their traps shut and kept out of your marriage punk. I feel for you very much😔

I was able to read NCC's post. My tablet let me enlarge the image well enough to read it. It wasn't a sharp focus, but it was readable.

Yes that particular post was about readable (and yes it can improve a bit depending what it's read with etc).

But some screenshots haven't been remotely readable and although we will make the effort, those looking for (or demanding!) proof may not be as patient.

I just think it's a really good idea have a link available to a good quality version, perhaps together with the screenshot? Certainly to the important stuff.

No, that isn't quite it. The only issue is with how the images are displayed, but they are stored correctly and if you use the image src link to view them they will look OK. When I fix it, they will all suddenly be super sharp

Yes I'd noticed you'd redone some and they were perfect. What is the SRC link?? I know you mentioned changing the ending of the web page address that links the the photo/post but I wasn't sure exactly how to change it

Does that change the resolution in line with the software the site uses Simon?

Yeah posting photos doesn't really work because you can't read text. Simon said we've got to post links, unfortunately, to a third party, like Flickr. That way someone can read the rant properly. I don't have a copy of it so can anyone else do it?

You have to create an account on an image hosting site and then link to it, perhaps under the photo you post on here for reference.

LMSA It's well past time to stop feeling sorry for her. Joining him on holiday mere days after he made that statement about pursuing Kim through many jurisdictions until he gets his revenge shows us what her level of complicity in all this is. I for one don’t “stand with Dijana”. She’s been playing both sides of this while privately getting several offers of monetary help since this whole thing started. She has her head lodged quite deep up her own ass and she has the perfect husband who knows how to manipulate and take advantage of any weakness.

Agreed. There's plenty of homeless exjw teens thrown out by JW parents and shunned who are far more deserving of our financial help than the Evans who have had a ton of exjw money. Far, far more than what they produce merits

Fully agree Aude Sapere. It seems there are quite a few posts that are frankly weird, posting for the sake of it could come across as obsessive and just make us look bad.

Ahhh my brother used to live in Derby. It's a bit of a dump in parts but the people are lovely. But then, I'm used to southerners so my standards are pretty low🤷‍♀️

Did anyone else notice? BBC News presenter Huw Edwards was wearing a dark suit and black tie several hours before Her Majesty's death was announced.

Diana had passed away hours before the BBC announced it. I was listening to French radio at about 2.am and they were saying she had died. I dashed into the front room, turned on the BBC on television and they were still saying she was in a stable condition🤪

I heard one of the talking heads yesterday on the BBC at the moment I think they may have been told(?). His voice dramatically changed,he got completely flustered and stopped making sense for a moment.....they were showing photos of the royals dashing up to Balmoral in a car. It took him a moment to compose himself. I found it pretty suspicious knowing what happened with Diana. I know the P.M., Opposition leader & the Speaker etc got messages yesterday morning about her - so they were told it was imminent at the very least.
