  I just don’t buy the implication of ignorance on her part as to what Ipsilon Media is for and how much her husband is pulling in.
  

  I may be too close to the situation to see clearly, however I hold the opinion that she may have known to some extent however not fully.

  I'm not going to make friends with this one and people will say I'm making racial stereotypes - but this is based on 25 years of experience. Eastern European's had a rough time of it behind the iron curtain, during the aftermath & prior to joining Europe and many would do anything for a British passport in that time. I've known very many over a long period and I've yet to meet one who didn't prioritise finan5cial well being over anything. Remember Dijana has her parents to think about, too. That woman is intelligent & I would rate her iQ as considerably higher than Cedars.
  Did they manage to get funds from the government during the pandemic, too, as business owners'? I would say definitely. Lloyd would claim he couldn't travel & "make films" during the pandemic.

  I am only surprised to see that he waited so long. He would have known about the benefits of incorporating from the business his father managed, wouldn't he?

  His father didn't run a business. Lloyd claimed he was chronically unemployed with a bad back.. Evans Snr. inherited the house from his wife's first husband. He sounds like one of those self important dudes that loves setting up companies....to flog Peckham Spring Water and Crash Turbans from the back of his Reliant Robin 😜

  Impact of Death of Favorite Character

  i'll assume we have all felt a jolt of loss when a favorite tv, movie or book character dies.

  when i watched the death of the incredible hulk tv movie after years of reading the comics and watch the tv show i was impacted.

  funny even today it just feels wrong.

  Punky It was well written fiction from the BBC. But then you only have to watch the News programmes to realise the BBC is expert in telling fiction.

  Uncle punky I was listening to Radio 4 yesterday and heaven help us they were featuring a series on conspiracy theorists and interviewing the BBC's - wait for it - head of DISINFORMATION on Social media correspondent, one Ms Spring!! I could not effing believe the brass nerve of them!😂😂 This from the people that brought us the Jimmy Saville school of burying inconvenient truths! The funniest thing was that she gave as an example of the problems caused by disinformation and conspiracies the lies told about the hammer attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband by a random conspiracist!😂

  Souls on Ice

  you may have seen the story of the couple who just gave birth to twins who developed from embryos frozen for 30 years.

  i'm delighted for the parents and hope the twins grow to be healthy.

  it does pose some questions for those who insist embryos are in fact humans with souls.

  The high court recently struck down a request from two parents to have their dying sons sperm frozen. The healthy 22 year old collapsed on the football field and was rushed to intensive care following a massive stroke.

  The judge said it wasn't in the patient's best interest, despite their claim he had previously expressed a wish to become a father. He has since died.

  His girlfriend had said she would like to have his child one day. That would have meant the embryo similarly would have been kept 'on ice', presumably until she felt old enough and ready to have a child. But what if she'd met someone else....and changed her mind? What would become of the 'babies'?(she's 20 so it's highly likely she'll marry in the future). Anyway the question is moot now, but it's an interesting thought and relevent to the OP, no??

  Well I don't know how much that kind of equipment depreciates, but at least the buildings/studios should keep their worth? Certainly going to be more inflation proof than savings in the bank for watchtower, which is loosing value by the week.

  As to the workers, I see your point but it would depend how skilled their jobs would be. For example if you're just doing basic manual or admin work it's probably no more beneficial to a dub than it's ever been to be exploited by Watchtower. However with all this new equipment and as they go into production etc, some lucky dubs may gets to train on the job and/or have watchtower pay for it. They could come out of this highly experienced with very marketable, in-demand and up-to-the-minute skills!!

  I get the impression that he felt confident that admitting to cheating on his wife with prostitutes for years would not bother his supporters as much as Kim's 'betrayal.' It shows just how little he thinks of his supporters.

  Having gone on my rant I do want to say I am perfectly willing to contribute reasonable amounts to genuine events/for genuine people if they have a shortfall themselves and I have. For example some were helped to attend the Warwick protest, but that was a one off and these folks don't make a habit of it.Nothing wrong with helping out a bit when you can. But Lloyd has made a career out of it.

  All for presenting EVIDENCE that a more than a few people’s apostate hero was DECEIVING people by saying their donations were going to make more videos and to buy equipment and maybe some sweets and toys for his daughters.

  Yes posters were asking Simon to take the thread down. You're right even on this site you'd get shot down merely for asking questions around his behaviour. For example I made a comment under the post about the big Australian Apostafest. He, his wife and kids all had their fares paid (and I've no doubt accomodations) which is a hellova lot of money. For why? All the time some amazing Aussie apostates doing genuinely important work. ....like Lara Kaputt etc Wonder how much she and Steven Unthank got for literally changing watchtower doctrine? Or the ARC survivors, such as BCG?? Perhaps he had gone to interview people. But surely there are capable Australian apostates who could do it and he could have posted it on his channel is it gets the most coverage?! I couldn't believe he didn't do something about the Warwick protest, or the UK protest that Goatlikepersonality and Lou Goode were involved in. Why not? Because HE is not centre of attention, that's why not !! Totally sickening. He would never report on something he wasn't involved in. Unless it was something official & huge like the ARC, or they were foreign language apostates so he couldn't be involved, such as Reclaimed Voices or the Polish protest.

  Kim Silvio The first weeks/months were hard however I became heartened when people stopped and started thinking with their logical brains after the emotions settled down. I hope it’s a lesson we all learn from. We are easily triggered and lack emotional regulation when we leave the cult.

  Anyway someone I'm fond of and respect on this site lambasted me for suggesting he'd taken advantage of the Australian Apostates. Subsequently this person has remained silent on Lloyd, which I understand since he now works in mental health.

  But what I think is wrong is standing by and watching Kim on the end of a tirade of abuse from exjws for stating the truth. Anyone & everyone should condemn that, no matter what your opinion of Lloyd is.

  I heard Someone talking about the hypocrisy of Stephen Fry today, trying to 'remain neutral' yet refusing to condemn the rape and death threats JK Rowling has received, because "he has intersex friends". What have your friendships got to do with the morality of a woman recieving rape & death threats?? I hope it's not got that bad for Kim, but Likewise every one, regardless of our views, should condemn the attacks on Kim.

  Rattigan About being a police officer. Why can't JWs carry guns? Nothing wrong with shooting bad people.

  That's a good point because JWs are not pacifists and are able to defend themselves if they or their family/friends are attacked. I would expect that would extend to police partner, too? It's definitely a gray area....
