  Wall.E. As far as I can see everyone on this thread with the exception of Kim & Simon has used pseudonyms, so it really couldn't be proven who said what. Even 'Newly Enlightenment' could be anyone within their family. I also wouldn't worry because nothing you have posted is offensive or untrue. It's not even unkind. Please don't worry.

  In addition to searching for new ways to get paid via YT & Patreon, Jabba the Hutt is still whining about not getting paid for being a Core Participant at IICSA.

  Nobody asked Lloyd Evans to be a "core participant" - for which he has constantly crowed about ever since. He even paid a lawyer to force them to accept him. Why would they pay any attention to him? He's not a victim, parent of a victim, or someone who worked within the organisation. As far as they're concerned, he's an ex member with a grudge.

  All the evidence they need, aside from victim statements, is right there in print. Watchtower is damned by it's own publications.

  And by the way I'm pretty sure that it's Arthur weber who does all the transcript of all those convention videos, which is a lot of work! Like L.E. give him $ for that...I don't think so...

  Having a son with autism this annoys me since he's clearly taking advantage here.I would like to think he reimburses him something for it but I highly doubt it.

  Despite great effort, there will be small mistakes. He may be unwilling to expose himself to criticism.

  Forever alone (😥) I know the first thing that he needs to do right now though is take lessons and learn how to speak Croatian fluently if he hopes to stay in Croatia for a "real job".

  I know. I find it really strange that someone with an obvious ability with language hasn't learned the language of the country he's lived in for 17 years, when he's actually living with a family who speaks that language!

  I was always surprised he didn't do at least a few videos in Croation (if he cares about waking JWs up as much as he claims). Either he won't get enough views or he's promised the in-laws not to.

  Watchtower looses Norwegian Appeal

  watchtower has just lost its appeal in the norwegian courts over the withdrawal of the funding it receives from the government as an officially recognised religion.

  the initial decision will now stand due to what the court termed 'exclusionary practices' which includes the witnesses barbaric practice of shunning minors, even by family members in their own homes.

  the ministry of children and families have decided they are now no longer eligible for the state grant of 16 million norwegian kroner given to officially recognised religions.. the following is a statement has been issued, i have summarised if it isn't readable: .

  FMThe State will take the kids away from the parents if they commit crimes and that ain’t child abuse or lock up their parents and that ain’t child abuse as I already pointed out.

  That is a completely specious argument. The state removes children from parental care if the children are in dire risk and as for prison, either parents or kids are put in custody if they break the law!! Believe me in Europe for the courts to put a parent with dependent children in prison the crime has to be pretty bad, too.
  Jehovah's witnesses are known to practice social isolation within the home and by family members which is child abuse by any metric.

  St. George of England I doubt it. This is how it used to be in the UK years ago. The wedding was conducted at the KH and then the couple went to the Registrar's Office for the legal part, or as often happened at our KH, the Registrar came along to the KH, sat through the service and then did the signing of the register.

  Yes it's always been that way in the UK. I think now the registrar observes the ceremony and then ensures the couple & witnesses sign the wedding registry.

  I presume in Norway officially registered religions are permitted to perform their own legal ceremony. Once Watchtower is longer registered it will be as in the UK, the registrar will attend the kingdom Hall in order to officiate the legal part of the ceremony.

  Just so you are aware (Hi by the way!) Norway has rescinded Watchtower's right to a Government grant that all officially recognised religions receive, because they socially isolate 'shunned', or disfellowshipped, minors - which is considered child abuse.

  Toni Morris claimed Norway was interfering with their freedom of religion. Jehovah's witnesses are still free to practice their religion as they see fit in Norway. It's just that they are no longer entitled to state benefits, totalling millions, due to their cruel treatment of minors. Watchtowers hypocritically complains about their own rights being infringed, whist interfering with the right of freedom of thought and religion of their own members!!

  I think his biggest obstacle is himself. He can recover from this, but it would require for him to stop being so aggressive and even hostile towards anyone who offers advice or criticism, as well as learning to cope with people who oppose him. He would also need to be more cooperative with others and even be willing to help others without any direct or immediate gain to himself.

  It's incredible, TOH, that in reading this without knowing who this person is, if you had to visualise your perfectly well trained male Jehovah's Witness primed to become an elder you couldn't find a better descriptor than this.

  I know, I know, it's considered the lowest hanging fruit to ever hurl the "you're still in the mindset of a JW" at anyone. Our version of Godwin's law by whose standards the thread has come to an end and we've lost the "argument". But in this case the comparison is just so obvious it smacks you right in the face.

  It's probably why so many of us always found Lloyds behaviour so triggering.

  Yes, Ozzie & Simon.....one that gets plenty of patreon donations, yet cares so little for those whom he purports to represent - worse, are his bread and butter - to ensure their safety by spending a paltry amount per month for a secure domain/email address. Especially when sending stories that could loose them their familles if traced back to them.

  The same R.Yohanan is said to have spoken with general Vespasian, addressed him as Lord Emperor to which Vespasian objected given he was not the emperor to which R, Yohanan announced:

  "If you are not the king you will be eventually, because the Temple will only be destroyed by a king's hand"

  Absolutely fascinating I had no idea and certainly didn't know about the temple destruction expectation. Why would the people react so negatively to Jesus taking about rebuilding the temple, then, after all someone had to be the messiah and rebuild it??

  I'm afraid I'm not knowledgeable enough to contribute or "discuss" but I've certainly learned a lot!
