Thanks Scenic viewer I didn't know about the " was, is not, will be" bit that WT spoke about. However it's rubbish because the league never went out of business... It just altered its name, the charter on which it was based remained the same. It's essence remained continuously the same...they are being pedantic to say otherwise. Absurd.

my mom is only in her mid 60s so i'm quite sure this is not an issue of mental illness.. the only illness she's suffering from is boredom since she's refused to work for years now.

If she doesn't bring anything to this relationship and arrangement, why are you supporting her?

Is it possible that Latin languages are harder to fraudulently " translate" into WT doctrine than English, given that Latin was the language of the church for hundreds of years? Would the fakery be easier to spot for experts??? -

Has anyone been outed by jw health care workers?

i was wondering how common it is for a sinner/apostate to be outed by a babbling jw care worker?
say you went to your dr because you were pregnant and unmarried or wanting counseling for having to live a double life as a pretend jw... and a jw secretary at the drs office saw this on your file and went tattling to the elders?.

Zeb this is true but staff not registered with a centralised proffessional body...such as receptionists, heath care assistants etc will always get more work if they have experience, even if only with an agency, they are just not accountable enough .In the UK even social workers and teachers come under that category sadly. -

This is why its our DUTY TO LET HEALTHCARE STAFF KNOW THAT JW STAFF CANNOT BE TRUSTED AROUND issues of CONFIDENTIALITY. Also not to assume JWs won't accept blood...explain the shunning and consequent no of fakers.
Sorry for shouting, just feel really strongly about this!

I'm still on my JWN holidays but had to pop back to share this experience.
by nicolaou ini'm a postman with the royal mail and was assigned to train a new starter yesterday.
my line manager introduces me to 'dave', within seconds my jw radar was on maximum!
in his mid to late 30's, politely spoken and with that haircut - i just knew it.. the post he'd applied for was saturdays only, he said he did a lot of volunteer work.

It's your JAY- dar (or J-dar) it never fails eh? Yup, a certain type of person, raised in the WT, really does not feel safe out in the " world" and they say they're not a cult cos they live with us and not in a compound!!!What a joke....they are so cut off, as the society wants them to be .... and yes individual dubs don't know any better so it's good to let them see it's possible to leave and be really ok. Let us know how he gets on....at least he's working and not pretending to be ill like they usually do in the UK
