  why jw's commit suicide?

  we all know the rate of suicide is high among jw's.

  my question is this- was there some subliminal messages that encourage this.

  i was a born in and my entire life i would have these thoughts that could come out of nowhere,"kill yourself.

  James Beckford shares a similar view to mine that Jehovah's witnesses would not have allowed schizophrenics to remain in the organisation.

  Guys I appreciate that this is just one persons experience, but in my old congregation there was a baptised sister who couldn't give coherent answers, there was obviously some serious issues. She seemed to me to suffer with paranoia, too. The attitude of other Jw's was that 'jehovah had obviously seen something in her heart' and drawn her to the society.

  I realize that not all congs would be so accepting. She was included in all service arrangements and invited to all the main 'get togethers'. I'm not sure what happened to her as I was only a teen at the time.

  Pioneers Living With Married Couple

  so ... situation:.

  a baptized married couple, with no privileges that we know of, have opened their home to 2 unmarried regular pioneers because of the pioneers' financial issues (limited income).. - husband works from home.

  - wife doesn't work and stays home or in service.

  Vandy Biblically speaking, if you are not anointed, you are not a Christian.

  So, if in fact, only the the memorial partners are born again, there are only 18,000 odd Christians in the WTS.

  Well that's true, so rarther than the 18, 000 being mentally diseased, the rest of the 7,982,000 are just being bullied into not partaking.

  why don't they just say the increase has taken place from the very year we changed the doctrine to allow people born after 1935 to be anointed.

  All they have to do to stop it is close the door again LoL!!

  on the jw construction situation in the last few years.. first, why did they discontinue the rbc arrangement and institute the ldc arrangement?

  It's heartbreaking.

  Thank goodness good brother Smith kindly left the beautiful park to the community.....for generations of family's to enjoy the only paradise they Will ever know, and didn't trust the wtbts to manage THAT.

  I can't imagine a modern dub being so generous to 'worldly' spawn of satan , or having the independence of mind to donate to the local cong and people, instead of the wtbts.

  a poster commenting on the houston sit and closed kh's made reference to '9/11' referring to the failure of the wt/bethel to offer first aid support to people fleeing from the crashes.. could someone enlighten me please..

  If I remember there was a posting by an ex-Bethelite about this. It was something to do with going to help.

  The Bethelites wanted to but we're initially forbidden. Later management changed their minds and allowed bethelites to go help with, please don't quote me, either being medics or searching the rubble? Honestly can't remember.

  we all know the moment that a nice family chat is moving to the propaganda game.. sister in law saying that jw.org is the highest ranked website, cousing saying that the new hq is energy neutral, aunt stating that jw have the best education.... what can we say on these moments?.

  that br splane just likes these new light ideas?.

  that a jw.org video stated that jw use the name jehovah because people recognize this name?.

  i'm a bit worried about god.. he seems to be doing some quite silly and frankly, insane things to prove he exists.. some bloke found words from the quran in a tomato.. jesus keeps appearing in toast and cats bums.. i'm worried about god.
