this just in from the 2017 annual meeting:.

1. watchtowers and awakes won't be released regularly, at least three watchtower and awakes per year.

6 magazines a year.. 2. a new book is being released: remain in god's love, more of an update like how they did for the what does the bible really teach book.

A very popular reaction I'm getting is that these changes show how fast the "chariot is moving" and I've heard the whole fear doom message again. With the cutbacks of the publications, that eventually the preaching work will soon come to an end, so now is the time to decide whether to "get in or stay out"

Well if 8 million is all Jehovah can manage ( and with all the Pimo's that's debatable) that's a sorry state of affairs.

With the bar being set that high I don't hold out much hope for the dubs, who are just about managing to white knuckle it for a human lifespan, during the millennium. Remember,too, all these older, overweight dubs are gonna be in their prime and full of hormones....for 1000 years!!!

Given the recent drawings of the 'new world order'- showing dubs holding Watchtower studies 24/7 - are You telling me that bunch of reprobates are gonna manage to stay off the 'fun side' for 1000 years ??!!

The GB made " exciting" decisions....

It's "exciting" that:

Watchtower mags are being reduced

Awake mags are being reduced

Books are being reduced *and* the few still published will be simplified

less books, tracts, brochures published and videos produced for field ministry

no more monthly literature offers

No more content added to many features on jw .org,

less children's content on jw.org

No more Jehovahs witnesses annual yearbook

and this is "exciting" for jw's?!!

I'm starting a Counter-Watchtower magazine

im starting a counter-watchtower magazine for everyone to give to their jw friends and family or just to give to those that come to your door.

the first issue is about the history of pyramidology of c.t.

russel and under the start of rutherford along with some other things like pointing out the fact that no one knows the translators of the nwt or writers of the watchtower, "the two very things relied on to teach you".. its writen in such a way to be very repectful but to make the reader think, and hopefully the light come on.

Fantastic! Why didn't anyone think of it before. Ok, I'll take your Watchtower (simplified, LoL) if you'll take MY magazine. Is the idea we print off the pdf?

-My 9 Part Podcast This JW Life & Something For Tomorrow-

for those that don't know, i recently did a podcast series called this jw life outlining my life before, during, and after the cult.

i made it with outsiders in mind so that anyone could understand what life as one of jehovah's witnesses is like and what it does to people.

i posted about it as each episode came out, but i know that new people will see this and hope that it might help more people as time goes by, so i will post about it every so often to reach out to those that can find help processing their lives or that want to help outsiders to understand what it was like in one cohesive story.. tomorrow i will release episode 2 of my new podcast called “shunned”.

Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?

when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.

i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.

also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

Is Antony Buzzard saying, in effect, that " the word" was God's plan? That Jesus *did not* exist before he was begotten in Mary's womb. That he was part of GOD.

I always thought, if you existed for eons, had that wisdom, then became human and withstood enormous cruelty yet maintained your integrity, as commendable as that is, it would be much easier to accomplish than had you *just* been created, as a human. Death for 3 days wouldn't seem so fearful, either.

So he is saying not only that Jesus is not the Archangel Micheal ( pretty much proven) but did not pre-exist at all. Except in God's plan ???

A Spanish translation of "crises of Conscience" would be a boon.

That Deborah Drexla has got a lot to answer for. Why doesn't she hand over copyright to someone with the nouse to get the job done.

Does JW Org Have Goons Like Scientology?

does jw org have goons they send after ppl to threaten them?

or to inflict violence on?

Ok. So This is something someone posted on exjwreddit.

A couple thought it would be a cool idea to get engaged at the new Borg HQ in Warwick. They found a really lovely looking Gizebo by the lake and decided it was the perfect spot!

So the chap proposed, the lady said yes and they celebrated by taking some pictures of themselves at the gizebo to commemorate their engagement.

Just then a bunch heavy-type "goons" came running down the hill.

They took the camera away and made them destroy the pictures. They said it's for the GB to use the Gizebo for their meeting on a Wednesday morning, if the weather's fine.

The site was especially chosen because it can't be seen from the outside for 360° around The gizebo!!! And they don't want anyone taking photos because they don't want people to start to idolize the site, and turn it into some kind of shrine!!!

This chap assures us he was an eyewitness to this event. So, were they "goons" or just over-zealous security types?

One thing I do know - there's very little that most jw won't do for the GB.

it looks like some momentum is building up to it.

but what i really want to know is will it have much impact?

Not sure about the idea of involving other religions, as doing so may be seen as a conflict of interest on the part of the churches involved.

Yes Pete you have a very good point.

I think letting the religious community know about Watchtower's cruelties generally is good, because people with a belief in GOD are obviously more vulnerable to being converted.

But - as yourself and Steve 2 mention - a ' rent a crowd' from competing churches would detract from the message, and give Watchtower ammunition against them.

This lass is ringing local churches and the general Warwick community and letting them know about the upcoming protest. She's wonderfully articulate and super approachable so makes a very good impression. I truly wish them all the best and if I lived in the USA I'd be there in a heartbeat.
