That video was brilliant!! He's grubbing around for content where ever he can. It's despicable he pretends to care for victims when he goes off to Thailand and does what he does to those young girls with no thought to how they came to be in that position in the first place. The vast majority of male and female prostitutes are victims of child abuse, whether they've been trafficked or not. Most have substance abuse problems too.

I only knew one girl who was that one in a million....not an addict, good childhood etc and became a working girl for a short time to pay for school and a deposit for a flat. She came back to me 15 years later having done her degree and now working for an environmental charity. She said that it had really messed her up and that she can't have normal relationships now. So much for these people that claim it's just another "job". They're deluding themselves.

JWs near of losing their status a religious organization in Norway

last spring norweigian state refused to give public contribution to jws (religious organisations can apply that in norway and previously wtbs has been granted that).

the decision was caused because of practise of disfellowshpiping.. now there is a new twist.. 25.10.2022 authorites in norway send a letter to wtbs and told them that they have four weeks to fix that practise.

if they don't do that they will loose their status as a religiouse organisation.. intrestingly jws did not "understand" what authorites meant by that and requested more time.. how can they not understand?

I was given to understand the Norwegian government financial grant was removed because of the practice of shunning minors, many times by family (and examples were given of shunning even within the family home). This is rightly deemed as child abuse and contravenes the ECHR rights of the child.

It's strange they clearly state his translation was criticized by scholars, who did not take it seriously.

The thing is though Vintage, Lloyd was a penniless pioneer when they met and married. So far from wealthy they were both in a lot of debt when they arrived in Croatia. It's one of the reasons they decided to move there. Despite not paying any rent it still took them 2 years to repay their debts, which they did to their credit according to Lloyd, so I don't think the above about attraction to wealthy narcissists applies?

Her treatment of Kim is concerning. It's very strange to send out an emotional S.O.S. to Kim, to not only go radio silent when Kim responds with concern, but then allow Kim to be thrown to the wolves by Lloyd's online goons for it, too. It was like she was playing 'both sides' at the same time. Very odd, if I read it all correctly.

I just don’t buy the implication of ignorance on her part as to what Ipsilon Media is for and how much her husband is pulling in.

I may be too close to the situation to see clearly, however I hold the opinion that she may have known to some extent however not fully.

I'm not going to make friends with this one and people will say I'm making racial stereotypes - but this is based on 25 years of experience. Eastern European's had a rough time of it behind the iron curtain, during the aftermath & prior to joining Europe and many would do anything for a British passport in that time. I've known very many over a long period and I've yet to meet one who didn't prioritise finan5cial well being over anything. Remember Dijana has her parents to think about, too. That woman is intelligent & I would rate her iQ as considerably higher than Cedars.
Did they manage to get funds from the government during the pandemic, too, as business owners'? I would say definitely. Lloyd would claim he couldn't travel & "make films" during the pandemic.

His father didn't run a business. Lloyd claimed he was chronically unemployed with a bad back.. Evans Snr. inherited the house from his wife's first husband. He sounds like one of those self important dudes that loves setting up companies....to flog Peckham Spring Water and Crash Turbans from the back of his Reliant Robin 😜

Uncle punky I was listening to Radio 4 yesterday and heaven help us they were featuring a series on conspiracy theorists and interviewing the BBC's - wait for it - head of DISINFORMATION on Social media correspondent, one Ms Spring!! I could not effing believe the brass nerve of them!😂😂 This from the people that brought us the Jimmy Saville school of burying inconvenient truths! The funniest thing was that she gave as an example of the problems caused by disinformation and conspiracies the lies told about the hammer attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband by a random conspiracist!😂

Souls on Ice

you may have seen the story of the couple who just gave birth to twins who developed from embryos frozen for 30 years.

i'm delighted for the parents and hope the twins grow to be healthy.

it does pose some questions for those who insist embryos are in fact humans with souls.

Excellent question, Pete.

The high court recently struck down a request from two parents to have their dying sons sperm frozen. The healthy 22 year old collapsed on the football field and was rushed to intensive care following a massive stroke.

The judge said it wasn't in the patient's best interest, despite their claim he had previously expressed a wish to become a father. He has since died.

His girlfriend had said she would like to have his child one day. That would have meant the embryo similarly would have been kept 'on ice', presumably until she felt old enough and ready to have a child. But what if she'd met someone else....and changed her mind? What would become of the 'babies'?(she's 20 so it's highly likely she'll marry in the future). Anyway the question is moot now, but it's an interesting thought and relevent to the OP, no??

Well I don't know how much that kind of equipment depreciates, but at least the buildings/studios should keep their worth? Certainly going to be more inflation proof than savings in the bank for watchtower, which is loosing value by the week.

As to the workers, I see your point but it would depend how skilled their jobs would be. For example if you're just doing basic manual or admin work it's probably no more beneficial to a dub than it's ever been to be exploited by Watchtower. However with all this new equipment and as they go into production etc, some lucky dubs may gets to train on the job and/or have watchtower pay for it. They could come out of this highly experienced with very marketable, in-demand and up-to-the-minute skills!!
