If membership, WT style, is not allowed until age 18, then at least the WT's claws are blunted somewhat, while freedom of religion is not being interfered. The rights to vote, drink alcohol and drive are all age dependent.

Yes. The video he made before the whole thing came out, when he said he needed a mental health break etc (in his cold narcissistic rage mode), I thought he looked like he was taking amitriptyline - which can be habit forming - but it could easily have been Xanax, too (or the Croatian version). Defo something along those lines.
Either way he looked absolutely furious. He was definitely sending a message to Dijana - "don't try to stop me going to Thailand or you'll have my flying monkeys to answer to!!"🤬

by FFGhost inso, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.
the “door of the ark” is closed.

I think this may all be a build up to them shuttling 1914. We knew they'd have to at some point, but when they do they immediately loose their authority. They'll definitely come up with something else that does before they do, though, and whatever that thing is it may be the reason Ant Mo left the GB. He wouldn't agree to these changes (or ones to come) and left of his own volition, which explains the house and stipend.

There's no way they haven't been reading apostate sites! I think even the GB are so unable to think for themselves - think critically - they get much of their new light from 'helpers' who've been listening to us. Listening to our reasoning over why they loose adherents and cannot make new ones.

I agree JWgoneBad. Sadly they've also had one positive in Brussels, though. Belgium has ruled in favour of their right to shun. I think the court has missed the point that it's not an individual choice. I also think they need to stress the fact that minors and vulnerable adults - such as the mentally ill - are also shunned when DF'd by family not under the same roof (& soft shunned even when they are).
