If membership, WT style, is not allowed until age 18, then at least the WT's claws are blunted somewhat, while freedom of religion is not being interfered. The rights to vote, drink alcohol and drive are all age dependent.
Fully agree not Former

😂😂 suits him actually
uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.
LMsAZoloft is not habit forming. What he didn’t tell you was he was withdrawing from something else.
Probably Xanax or he might have even been abusing painkillers.
Yes. The video he made before the whole thing came out, when he said he needed a mental health break etc (in his cold narcissistic rage mode), I thought he looked like he was taking amitriptyline - which can be habit forming - but it could easily have been Xanax, too (or the Croatian version). Defo something along those lines.
Either way he looked absolutely furious. He was definitely sending a message to Dijana - "don't try to stop me going to Thailand or you'll have my flying monkeys to answer to!!"🤬
so, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.
the “door of the ark” is closed.
I think this may all be a build up to them shuttling 1914. We knew they'd have to at some point, but when they do they immediately loose their authority. They'll definitely come up with something else that does before they do, though, and whatever that thing is it may be the reason Ant Mo left the GB. He wouldn't agree to these changes (or ones to come) and left of his own volition, which explains the house and stipend.

XBEHERE That totally explains the beard thing. Not counting time is pretty big but I agree, it's a red herring.
There's no way they haven't been reading apostate sites! I think even the GB are so unable to think for themselves - think critically - they get much of their new light from 'helpers' who've been listening to us. Listening to our reasoning over why they loose adherents and cannot make new ones.
https://bitterwinter.org/the-ghent-saga-ends-belgium-cassation-court-confirms-that-shunning-is-lawful/.
There is a powerful case that shunning breaches the human rights of the vulnerable individuals such as children, the mentally ill and the elderly who may suffer more deeply from the cruelties of loneliness due to the way modern society is structured.
Article 8: And what about the right to family life?
Article 9: Freedom of thought and religion (specifically for apostates in this case).
N.B. Massimo Introveign is an absolute fraud and has to be in the pockets of these cults because there's no way someone purporting to be an academic supporting freedom of thought and belief could champion Watchtower. He frequently outright lies in their defence, too.

I agree JWgoneBad. Sadly they've also had one positive in Brussels, though. Belgium has ruled in favour of their right to shun. I think the court has missed the point that it's not an individual choice. I also think they need to stress the fact that minors and vulnerable adults - such as the mentally ill - are also shunned when DF'd by family not under the same roof (& soft shunned even when they are).
the bible does not say that god does not want to lie, but that he cannot lie or it is impossible for god to lie.
.
so, if god cannot lie, for what purpose and why did he create creatures (satan, demons, humans) who can lie?.
Good point....how is the lie even a concept, a thing? If it is not found in the original model /mold / programme?
what’s keeping them?
this has got to be the latest it’s ever been.
maybe it’s the last one they’ll ever publish too, after dropping reporting hours for publishers ….
Oh those numbers are hilarious!🤣Comparing baptisms with COVID.years, bible studies can now be regular doorstep RVs, pioneer hours counted writing letters etc lol

I think has got more to do with possible anti western laws at some point in the future in Hong Kong - an American cult will not be popular - so they've moved to South Korea, which is a US ally.
