  PRESIDENTIAL predictions...let the prognosticators have their say!

  my only prowess in making predictions stems from my 77-years of life in the united statesgrowing up under president truman, eisenhower, kennedy, nixon, .....etc.

  etc.i was a widdle kid sitting in front of a tiny black and white tv set when the very first broadcastsof political conventions, deal-making, debates (nixon vs kennedy), assassinations (jfk, rfk, martin luther king, etc.

  ) i grew up with duck and cover under my elementary schooldesk, the cold war, the iron curtain, the korean war, the vietnam war and i went to federal prisonas a jw conscientious objector while hippies, flower children, political activists protested and universitystudents were fired up on by troops.i grew up reading newspapers (2 of them).

  TOH. I don't think Biden voters were switching to Trump as much as Biden voters preferred to stay home instead of vote for Harris.

  You might have a point there, since Trump.supporters are trump VOTERS whereas Democrats aren't necessarily going to vote for Harris given her appalling performance.(With the exception of the presidential debate which makes me sure she was given the questions prior to the debate).

  Liam Also want to thank the girls of the View for their stupidity on live TV, that convinced a lot of young Gen Z girls to switch from Harris to Trump.

  🤣🤣Whoever asked Harris on The View what she would do differently to Biden with her promptly saying "I can't think of one thing" you should definitely be thanking, since that probably lost her the election!

  Batya Ungar's comments are SO on point, here at 7:52 , about the working/middle/aspirational class being derided and abandoned by the Democratic party who now cater to their donor class -the likes of George Soros who cares nothing for America.

  in the past, the admin did not approve of this and did remove some posters from jwn.

  I agree Goowy. It's also good to summarise links in your own words do that people can decide whether to have a look.

  Many of these posts are not so much an expression of a point of view - just poor attempts at conversion imo.

  Watchtower has a way of ruining marriages.

  They'd been out of the religion for over a decade and they were even living with her JW parents, proving Watchtower doesn't have to sour family relationships if people are willing to place love above power and status.

  Dear Petra, Would you at all consider recounting the story of yourself and Atlantis, please? Perhaps an interview with Barbara Anderson, who does interviews every other Saturday on Rick Fearon's "Six Screen" You Tube channel? You can do so anonymously, I think, with just a voice over. I'm absolutely sure she would do both Atlantis and your own story justice! Very many of us would be enormously interested to hear all about Atlantis, the humble and generous-hearted JW "apostate grandfather" to us all.....but most especially to you, of course!

  you can see all private details of every member of the congregation.

  i wonder how these sisters feel about their private details being available to these creepy elders?.

  DW If she is a doubting JW, then she will never give out any such details to the elders in the first place itself. Simple.

  Well, not quite. Presumably she would have been a believing JW at some point and often that is the issue. There's often no way to get this information removed once a JW does wake up, no?

  what to these people who gave decades working for free in bethel when they are 60 plus years old.

  This will be the next watchtower scandal - after CSA, blood and shunning (particularly of minors) that governments will or should be investigating at some point. The big con, or 'vow of poverty' the "free workers" sign, in order that watchtower doesn't have to contribute to social security!!

  Half hearted JWs compared to past generations

  is it just me or has there been a massive change in jws of late?.

  when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .

  Gorbachov I asked him, how succesfull the cart work is, because nobody is interested and walk by.

  He told me with big eyeballs and an irritated voice: "It's a great succes, because Jehovah sees what we do".

  Its all "me, me, me" isn't it? All about the Browney points they can win for themselves, not about doing their best to reach the hearts of their brother!
