However, to have a guaranteed hope for salvation, one must still take a stand for Jehovah (i.e. become one of Jehovah's Witnesses). The May 2024 Watchtower makes this clear in study article 19. What has changed is the understanding that individuals can make up their minds even after the great tribulation begins.

JW Watch has been down because of some malfunctioning plugin, one couldn't even access the admin portion of the site because of the same error. Obviously he will need to do some cleaning up, and remove all the spam.

"Love people" isn't something new... it's the same principle of "agape" love—love mankind, love your neighbor, and out of this love you want them to be saved so you teach them the good news of the Kingdom, and if they are honest-hearted sheeplike ones, they will respond favorably and take the necessary steps to become a dedicated and baptized disciple of Christ.

This doesn't contradict hating either. JWs are taught to hate what Jehovah presumably hates. JWs shouldn't hate people per se, but their ungodly behavior.

For me it is more than obvious why es24 and w24.01 are confidential until October 20. It's about the 2024 yeartext, which has not yet been announced. Arguably the Governing Body will announce the scripture for 2024 in their next video update (2023 Governing Body Update #7), and that is apparently scheduled for an October 20 release.

The more subtle reason is loyalty. Oversight wants to make sure the brothers are loyal to the organization (and by extension to Christ and Jehovah themselves), and such occasions are perfect to test the loyalty of the brothers in the congregation.

@Teddnzo: No, Arthur definitely does not approve of Lloyd's behavior. He's also had his share of some truly disappointing occurrences with Lloyd, but I won't go into details without Arthur's permission because that specific situation is not known publicly.

About the German edition of his book ,I ask myself who could have help him with that ? Then I remember ,who helped him in the past ,for the illegal crisis of conscience fiasco ? Arthur Weber . @Toblerone5: While it is true that Arthur took part in the CoC bootlegging fiasco, and he is one of the chat moderators on Lloyd's YouTube channel, and he does speak German pretty much fluently, I can tell that it's not him who's in the process of translating The Reluctant Apostate into German. Arthur's visit to Croatia in in October 2019 was to film the Bunker Interview #5 where he is featured.
