  I'd also go for Adobe InDesign (I've been using it since version 1.5; now I use CS5 [7.x]; some might like Quark XPress, MEPS Composition or other high-end industry-standard page layout software) because you have a very precise typographic control of the material. When reproducing printed material for an electronic version I also set the text using the same fonts as the original, if possible; if not, I use the closest matching font.

  Seems like the author of that article is not aware of the Witnesses' recent understanding of the prophecy set out in Matthew 24:34 (namely the 'overlapping' generations of annointed), which wipes out much of the disillusionment the brothers would have felt if they realized how much the generation of 1914 has been stretched out.

  Yes, jookbeard, the district conventions in the United States have started on the third weekend in May, so there are some threads here on the board with audio recordings of the talks, scanned PDFs of the brochures released on Friday and a link to the English edition of the Faith in Action DVD, part 2.

  Gayle, the things published in Our Kingdom Ministry are virtually the same for every major edition (editions being released simultaneously with the English edition), except for the service highlights and announcements, which reflect local needs. And the British edition uses British spelling. But the parts considered for the meetings are one and the same everywhere.

  it appears that only the issues for the previous six months are kept online..

  The public editions of The Watchtower and Awake! magazines are available in English since the July 2010 issues, and since the August 2010 issues is several other languages.
